When you buy a new car and you get a flat tire, who pays for it? The company? Not likely. If you use the same car to go on vacation, do you call the the car company you baught the car from and ask them to buy you luggage? Not likely. And what about the gas in the car? Does the car company give you gas money? Very unlikely.... but why shouldn't the car company pay for it all? They're rich......aren't they?

Yes, the ads are sporatic. All over the place. Even those tacky "section icons", on the right, will show up after awhile. Even though I hide them. Wish they were set, when I log in, to keep my setting after I hide them. That would be nice.

I've been noticing, in a lot of the windowblinds, that this image is not skinned. Does this image not show up on some systems? If so, then why is it not skinned? To much trouble? Not worth it? Didn't know it existed? It's sad, I download a really nice looking skin and this "ugly" looking default icon is not skinned. This goes for the Music and Video icons, also. I run WindowsXP Home and it shows up. Again, am I wasting my time and does it show up on all systems?

Lantec, working my way up from my very first skin until now. So, I'll try to get to it. At this point, we'll see what I can do... Alot of my first 10 skins didn't go over to well. (Anybody remember "Try This"? What a nightmare). So hopefully I can put a little spark in them. BluNite-75% done.
If you like WB 4.6, no one says you have to update. If you're comfortable with it, then go with what works. All windowblinds, as of this moment, are all pre-WB 5 ready. The WB 5 features are just an added bonus. Not sure about Vista, though. Also in WB 5, in the configuration window if you select "View My System Information", you can check the box that says "Never use per-pixel borders on a skin". H

I would prefer to pay for a skin that functions as well as the WindowBlinds program allows (in other words; the only glitches in the skins are due to the unavoidable incompatibilities between WindowBlinds and some Programs - e.g., Office 2007 running on Windows XP). Yes, it means you've been a subscriber for 2 years. If you've been a subscriber for longer than that, it's just another glitch they have to look into. They'll eventually get to it. Just some things are more important. Remember, the site just went live.....so there are bound to be mistakes. Report the bug here. Bug Reports
valkyriesb, go to the top of the page, right above your username, and click on settings. Make the changes there. Easy fix.
Talk about a time shift. I logged in and got the front page from (4) days ago. From "Featured Skin", to "Todays Favorites" to the "News". Everything. Happens each time I log in or return to the front page. I've done a full system clean (3) times since then, so that page must be loaded here. To fix it, I have to refresh the page each time I visit. Check out Liquidox, I included 200 icons total... You and treetog are the only ones, so far, that do "FULL" packs. (Fingers crossed, that you guys keep it up). Does anyone know if the "iconpack" has (file types)? I know that most of Stardocks packs don't come with them or have like "5". Is it a "mini" pack or a "full" pack?
