I'd be very surprised to see CursorXP, Bootskin, Rainlender or Sysmetrix as part of the entries. Windowblinds and Iconpackager alone takes 2 to 3 weeks or more to complete. Sorry, but all the afor mentioned items can be done in a day, sometimes hours. If the prizes are the same, for all the categories, then why do a WB or IP at all. Does anyone believe that a person would spent 3 weeks to make a CursorXP? I may be talking

Sounds like fun.
And BestBuy sucks I have to disagree on this one. I've owned 4 computers in my life. The first one would crash every week. The next two would crash once a month or once every two months. The one I have now, I bought at Best Buy and haven't had one single problem for over a year. --I did
I am sorry you feel so, about the design process and birth of your project. It happens at least once, to everybody. I don't remember blaming anyone. I have no ill will toward you, CygnusXII. Was never about
Well, after we were accused of leaving it up to the end user to decided what to do with it, I pulled it. I mean, you just have to love the holidays, upload a Premium skin, for free no less, and what do people do, complain. The main reason we gave it away, is because it "is" 14 months old. The Concept suite has been a nightmare for the past 14 months, I should have saw this coming. When I first started the windowblind, I wanted to e
Well, you may get your wish. GUIMagic is "giving away" three premium suite this months because of the Christmas spirit. Plus one Christmas suite and one updated suite. So in total, we're giving away, 1 "HUGE" suite, (over 18 apps. skinned), 1 regular suite and 3 mini suites for December. All starts December 7th. So, if that doesn't satisfy you, then there ain't no pleasin' ya! <img src="http://images.stard
DD, it did help. Even I learn something new everyday and I didn't know that. So now, when ever someone uses small fonts on the forum here, I can pop the old ctrl-key. Wonder what I'll learn tomorrow.
Well, Night Train, I am officially humbled. That did the trick after a reboot. It was set on small. Haven't a clue how that happened in the first place. Didn't even think to look there. LOL I thought it just might have been certain websites I went to. Thanks, you're the man of the hour. At least people learned something "new" from DigitalDanes. Oh, and btw, I meant to say the fonts are like size "1", not "15". I
I feel a little embarassed (like a newbie) asking about this. Here I can design and code websites but I can't, for the life of me, figure out this font issue. It's kind of like knowing how to build a race care from scratch, but then can't figure out why the brakes don't work. lol
Over the past week, I have visited alot of websites, that the fonts are really small. It's as if the font size is (15), if there was such a thing. We're talking small. I keep having to select user defined, to make the page look right or at least OK, to be able to read it. Is it because websites are using .XHTML 1.0 and my browser (internet explorer) isn't reading it right? Do you think I may have deleted something that caused
"We are also working on an update to the Logika Suite. Originally created by SkinStudio" You're telling me all this time, thinking Pixtudio did this, that they didn't? Or is that a typo? It would have been nice to see the original team update Logika, my all time fav, but alas we'll see what Voo and Mike can do with it. They have thier work cut out for them. Here's hoping they raise thier game up a notch, because I
WC Ambassador, You could have nipped this in the bud from the bigginning if you had put in the description. "For personal use only. Please, do not request." And if someone did leave an email address, just say that you can't send it, because the skin is copyrighted. I feel it would still be up. But from the start, it "felt" like you were ignoring the copyright issue, by just leaving a "Thanks" comment and not letting them
My favorite part of the whole movie was the first 10 min. There's so much going on, that you have to see it 10 times to see everything. You know the old saying "Everything, but the kitchen sink"? The sink is floating around somewhere. I'll let you find it, like I did. </
We're (GUIMagic) behind you Brad. Well thought out plan.
No offense, but do youthink I'm stupid? That I'm just clicking on whatever, whenever and that I'm being scammed left right and center???? That I don't know what I'm doing when it comes to computer fraud??? (FYI, I used to work with a police department and did some private investigating. Part of my training dealt specifically
I don't mean to sound flippent, but this can happen to any type of pay service, not just PayPal. They are just the most recognizable. I use PayPal and have never had a problem (knock on wood). The best advice is no matter what type of email you get, never click on a link. Even if you think you can trust them. Open up another browser window and go to the site directly and check your account. This will always save you a lot of headac

Why is it, everytime there might be a rip, they head straight to the forums and think that it will be corrected in a matter of moments? Next time, instead of publicly bashing someone, you go through the proper channels first. Which is emailing an Admin. If you're right, it will be dealt with. If you're wrong, who does it hurt? Not you, but the one accused. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/wc/smiles/Hmm.gif" border=0 ALIGN="absmiddle
Citizen Jeff T, just look at my other articles about the contest for all the screenshots.
Well, we had an ok turn out for our first contest. I did find out that the answers were tougher for people than I thought. So, with that in mind, I bring you the results. In 1st. place the prize goes to "Adina McCollough". They will recieve the 17+ "Concept" suite of skins. In 2nd. place the prize goes to "Michael Hilliard". They will recieve thier chose of three of the "Concept" suite of skins and the
So...when's the site gonna open to the public? Hopefully, this year. We have to create a few more pages and then test it for a while so everything works right. Can't give a definite time. Ghos, Concept was our first suite. It's been done for nine months. I've updated it last month. (In the
The GUIMagic Official Website is just around the corner. So we've decided to run a contest to give away a new premium suite to the winner. The name of the suite is called "Concept" and includes 18 different skins. More are on the way but that's what we have done so far. The suite consists of Windowblinds, Iconpackager, DesktopX, Sysmetrix, CursorXP,LogonXP, Winamp V.4.9 & 5, Windows Media Player, Media Jukebox, Wins
AOL 9.0, Beta, Optimized and SE have all worked fine for me. I agree, try excluding it in windowblinds config.
