Is your operating system vista and if it is are you using a wireless connection?
After looking around i found an app that disables the 60 second ping but doesn't disable WLAN Autoconfig. I installed and played a game and the constant lagg spikes were gone [e digicons]:)[/e] . http://www.martin-majowski.de/wlanoptimizer/
i already have installed the lastest drivers from the manufacturer(D-Link DWA-160 rev A)and it still doesn't work.
yes it is called WLAN AutoConfig in Vista but as soon as i turn it off my wireless connection is disabled.
I don't have any problems connecting to people but as soon as the game starts i start getting lag spikes around every 30 seconds.
I'm having the same problem as you but i can't find Wireless Zero Configuration(using Vista).
I don't know if this has been posted before but if it has been then please just ignore this post. When using a teleport scroll on the tower that is highlighted in the screenshot the demigod would end up getting stuck in that spot shown in the screenshot. It only happens on the dark side. http://picasaweb.google.com/a.nobody213/Demigod_Bug#5329473326641473170

I also agree that 8 maps right now is fine.
[quote who="Werewindlefr" reply="22" id="2156174"] Uh... no. There use to be a time when releasing a buggy game meant the game was not playable. There were no updates, no patches, and games had to be released clean or die. Drop the "people want everything now" litany: people want to buy something that works now, not in a week, yeah. That's natural, that's not "being impatient". If I bought some fuel at the gas station, I'd rather have the fuel be useful right away. If I buy some wine, yo
Seems people these day's never heard of a thing called patience. So yeah the game has big problems and it's only been a short time since launch but they admitted their mistakes and are working hard to fix it. I'm surprised that people seem to expect all or most of the bugs to be fixed in a very short amount of time but i guess that happens when we live in a society that is used to getting everything immediately. Ok so you spent money on something you can't use right now well all i can say to
Well everyone makes mistakes and it's obvious you learned from your mistakes. Yes there are people who can't wait a couple of weeks to fix some bugs and stuff like that but then again what game has ever shipped perfect.
Probably a bad idea to post here since it seems almost everyone is upset. How about we give stardock some time to work on Demigod since you all know Rome wasn't built in a day. patience is a virtue
I haven't gotten mine yet Canada, Cambridge
I think its a great idea it reminds me of hoard mode in Gears of War 2 /signed
