How difficult is this game to learn? in Fallen Enchantress Elemental Forums

Hello, can someone tell me how long it took them to learn how to play this game and how difficult it was\is to understand? The game sounds and looks really good but I hate buying strategy games where the tutorials are inadequate and I am required to read the forums to know what I should be doing (e.g Paradox Interactive games). I guess I am hoping that it's as easy as Civ 5 so I can play effectively pretty quickly. Thanks for the feedback...

Why should it go back any levels at all? That would be like a country losing a jet then having to go back to biplanes. Once you learn something you don't lose that knowledge just because it gets destroyed.

Is there a way to increase the maximum number of capital ships and increase the fleet size overall. I looked through several of the entity files and I couldn't find a setting that would allow this. Thanks for any help...

Thanks for your reply. This is my first attempt at doing this so I am probably doing something stupid. Using the Star Wars Requiem mod v2.4, for my first attempt I was trying to do the following: Using the convert application the mod provided I did: convn entity c:\CAPITALSHIP_IMP_ISD0.entity c:\CAPITALSHIP_IMP_ISD0.txt txt This works just fine. But when I try to do this, it get an error:

Can someone explain how after converting one of the .entity files to txt I can convert the text back to entity file? I managed to get the convn.exe to convert to txt but I haven't a clue as to how to convert my changes back to an entity file. Thanks for any help.

I would like to see either Star Trek or Star Wars ship designs. I know this will probably never happen but I would like it.

Upgrade Replays ? in Sins of a Solar Empire Sins Forums

I have installed v1.5 and have been trying to find some replays. People don't seem to upload them for some reason. Is there a way to take the ones on the download page here and upgrade them to 1.5? Anyone know where I can download some v1.5 replays? (by the way, why can't you search the forums for 1.5? it turns it into 15!) Thanks from a newbie....

I don't miss the campaigns at all. I prefer skirmishes all the way for every game I play. Unfortunately the single players games are usually dominated by campaigns. This game is perfect the way it is.

Retrieve Password function not working in Technical Sins Forums

Just an FYI for any website support guys. When trying to retrieve my password your website pops up with a server error. I finally remembered mine after many guesses. To bad your website doesn't display an obvious way to contact support.
