I don't know why I can't find it. I have tabs for: Locked screen Resource speed Research speed Game Speed Change Maps and Play. Thanks.

Where do you turn them off? Under the first screen where you pick Single Player? Options include User interface Video Sound Effects Key Binding Manage Files Cinematic. None mentions pirates. Thanks.
So it's just the demo that is giving the problem? Does the full version have single player against AI?
So, is there a fix or not. I don't think "not buying it" is a good option.
When I try to host a game it gives me a Hostgame in GVP failed response.
I'm sorry to post this but I have loaded and reloaded the demo version of Demigod and want to play against AI. I would like to learn about the game before I purchase it and not bother the more experenced players with multiplay. After I create my profile were do I go to play against AI? Thanks
Thanks, thats what I love about this game, some things I can figure out and the others I can get help here. I was having problems with the Novalith because I had it on auto-cast, something simple but wrong. I had not figured out the wormhole jump, and thanks for that.
Also, how do you construct a metal / crystal extractor on a asteriod belt that states the mineral can be captured?
I had the wormhole technology researched and I had a planet with a wormhole on each side. I could go from one wormhole to the other but when I try to go to another system I click on my ship and then try to click on another wormhole and it shows its not a valid destination (has a red X). Also please explain how to target a specific planet. Thanks for you help.
I'm new and still trying to learn the game, but I have a hard time finding the information I need. For instance how do wormholes work and what are the rules from going to one wormhole to the other. I have a wormhole by my home plantet and can go to a nearby planet which I colonized but I can not jump to another wormhole. I know it can be done because other scouts go thru mine. Also, how does the Novalith work. Can you direct the weapon to a specific target? The pinn
Yes, they are Galaxy Forge maps, I must have missed the part about assigning player start positions. What exactly is this?
I saved my files as described to d/program files/stardock games/sins of a solar empire/galaxy and still get the Defeat screen as soon as I load the game. I did not see anywere else that gave any other reason for this except for putting the file in the wrong place. There must be a different reason.
I too did the same and get the "Defeat" flash screen right off the bat, and I'm sure I have it in the right directory.
Good points to consider during my next attack. myemail21479, What is "use the disable ship ability" to single the ship out (thus retreating fleet leaves it behind)?
I made a map and loaded it in the c:\Program Files\Stardock Games\Sins of a Solar Empire\Galaxy file and it worked fine. I went back and made some adjustments to planets and phase lanes. I resaved and loaded it and got the "Defeated" anouncement. I know I have it in the right place. Are you not able to change a file and reload to Sins?
Just finished a TEC 3star sp game that lasted over 13hrs (total not in one sitting). I lost but had a great ttime, I know I made some major blunders but I'm learning from experence and from this forum. There is so much to learn I don't know how anyone can master 3 races, so I think I will stick with TEC. Happy hunting...
I'm new to Sins and enjoy playing TEC in single person. A lot of members have given great advise on making a pretty strong empire and I do pretty good when playing against AI. Maybe we could just consider it more of a challenge instead of short comings.
Thanks for the chart and advice, being new to the game I was assuming that a TEC frigate (and other ships) had the same properties as an Advent or Vasair. Your discription so shooting into a black hole was exactly what it felt like when I had all my guys targeting that Capital ship and nothing seemed to happen, and if you think I have some deep strategy issues you'r probably right because I do not like to loose ships or men. It's something I may have to get use to in this game to win.
kryo, Are you suggesting that I send in my frigate fleet first as a sacrifice and then as the other team is fighting them attack with the rest of my fleet? If so what would the timing be on this, just before the last ship frigate was gone? Also I find I do not get help from other teams that I have a cease fire and peace treaty with. How can I encourage them to help out?
I am sorry to have to ask this question but it is driving me crazy. Why is it when you go into battle and select every ship you have (ALT and click) then attack one target such as a capital ship I will lose (I am not kidding) around 100 ships of different types? This will be on a planet with no defence (just crystal and metal extractors). I admit it was a level 8 but there must be a less expensive way to destroy a ship. I must be doing something w
I like pirates but wish they would make up their mind who they were going to attact when the countdown reached 0 instead of waiting for more offers. It never fails that they are trying to make their decision when I am in the middle of doing something else and it seems to take forever.
When bounty is being placed on a team, why is it that the values will go down before the "bidding war" is decided? Also, is there some pattern as to how long after the countdown reaches 0 before the pirates select who they attack and there are several times when I feel I did not get my money worth, is there a way to prolong the attack on the other player?
