I read that same article in PC Gamer. I honestly think it's a waste of money. Like you said, you could easily buy a a decent 19" monitor and it'd be much more useful (bigger screen size for more chat windows, music manager, etc). Obviously if you don't have an extra video output, then it might be worth it, but I think most PC gamers have a video card that has 2 outputs.

That is GOOD news. I was incredibly disappointed when I heard that Mass Effect had the machine limit DRM but I bought it anyway because I was looking forward to it so much. Looking back, I wish I hadn't just for the principle. It's too bad that Mass Effect was such a good game and I couldn't resist the pull...

I'll admit i use snipe in the early game, but after level 7-8 or so, I start relying more on Mark of the Betrayer. Toss that on somebody before you face them and it's a big help as it really hurts the creep wave their riding in on. Also using maim in conjunction with the items that have attack speed and crit (slayer's wrap's or ashkandor if the game ever gets that far), works REALLY well. I only use snipe late game if somebody tries to run with under 1k health and they'

You know what annnoys me the most? People who create threads even though there are already a billion that exist that say the same thing. #2 is the amount of whining and complaining that makes up about half of these boards. Yes, a lot of people are having problems with the MP. Yes, the P2P system is not ideal. Yes, it would have been nice to have it fixed by the weekend. But the constant bitching and moaning about it is not going to help. Stardock/GP

this was one of the things that ruined DotA for me. i was really hoping it wouldn't carry over to Demigod, but from what i've been hearing/reading, it has. looks like it'll be friends-only games for me!
I notice some realy positiv comments on gametrailers, and thats a realy good thing cause it wasnt like that before.
while there were some positive comments on GT, i noticed a lot of ignorant people complaining about the arena style maps and posting things like "Dota with a few more options. Are we really going to pay $50 for a few more options?" and "looks decent but I'd think they would feel at least

Yeah, i've had this problem before too. In Demigod and DotA. It's important to get lots of minion kills and to know when to back off so you don't have to make trips back to heal up. The trip may take only a minute or two total, but it's that time that gives the enemy a level or two. Keep track of other players on the minimap and know where the enemies are missing. If possible, coordinate ambushes on enemies who are by themselves farming minions. In DotA, th

i can vouch for this. Stupid me, i made a topic about it before looking. But yeah, crackling and quiet sound. Music is just fine. And so are the blips in the interface.

I hadn't played Beta2 yet so i fired it up and started a internet game with a bunch of Normal AI bots. I noticed the sound was very tinny and the volume was very low even tho i had my speakers cranked up half-way. Whenever the annoucer said anything, it would sometimes crackle. Wondering if anybody else has had this problem? My audio works just fine in all other games and while playing mp3s. Q6600 (Stock), 4GB RAM, 8800 GTS 512MB (180.20 Drivers), Realtek HD Au

no DRM on an upcoming title from a big name publisher? even tho i don't have too much interest in PoP, i will seriously consider buying it to prove to Ubisoft that non-DRM games will generate a better response from the community and will sell better (i'm using Sins as an example here).

last game i played, i had about 34 kills. i would just wait outside of their base and take them out one at a time. only heard "OH MY DEMIGOD" after a majority of those kills. never smite-alicious. how does one acquire such a title?

i have been DEATHLY afraid of almost all competitive online play. Whether it be in an FPS/RTS or on xbox live, taking a game online takes a lot of courage for me to muster up. the only exception to this is TF2, i never have a problem playing that online. i always look forward to playing a new game online and i tell myself, "oh this is going to be a great game. i'll play online day 1 and become really good, etc." but when the game finally comes out, all that excitemen
