Knock it off. Now. I will write to Stardock if you continue to attack me and derail this thread. Surprising the one with the "stupid" accusations can't spell right.
You're a whiny little moron aren't you?
Capitalizing on my lack of using harsh language?
No, I understand English perfectly , perhaps you've just never learned how to express yourself intelligently.
I'm so surprised...
You are harassing me, stop it! No, maybe you misunderstood me.
I invest in a company by buying their product. They sure make a profit off of it.
Good. First blacklist. I never liked you that much anyways.
Now you're just being silly. I thought you were smarter than this. Should I use crayons? It stopped being your money the second you exchanged it for that hamburger. It becomes their money not yours and you damn well know it.
I notice you have a thing for crayons. If it stopped being my money, why should I continue to invest it? It's my investment, therefore should I not invest in only things that I agree with?
Either you obey the law or not, and if you don't you're violating your own religion.
Then I obey the law as I am commanded by God. I do not have to believe that the law is worth following to follow it. You're going off track of the discussion, here. Next time at least post something pertinent to the original discussion.
Really? Doesn't the bible say "Submit yourself to every ordinance of man"?
Is that not a law of God?
I've revieved complaints from people saying that I'm "projecting" or "impressing" my views on them. I know how to project things. You put them in your hand, close your fingers, pull your hand back, open your fingers, and push your hand forward. In some places, it is called "throwing". I know how to impress things. Either you make their jaws drop, or you take a stick or similar object and shove it into a
Public school sex ed programs are the vehicle used to teach kids "tolerance" of homosexuality as normal, immutable, and natural, even good
I beg to differ here. All the schools in Arizona teach only abstinence.
A society is governed by it's laws. Period. While many people would love to see a theocracy here, it simply isn't. It's a country made up of peoples from many different countries, races, religions, and backgrounds. What is and isn't tolerated is det
Erathoniel, most churches don't need donations from businesses. That's because most big churches own several businesses or have extensive assets that they are making money off of. The Southern Baptists own lots of sky-scraper real estate that they lease out and that's 'God's money'.
Nazarenes? Do they? We're too small to won sky-scraper real estate. We're lucky to own dirt-lot real estate.
It ceases to be your money when you give it to them in exchange fo
YES! YES YES YES! This is actually a satire. I'm for legal weapons (maybe not big bad ones, but any one would use as a safe tool).
So it's kinda RL-esque in Java? You could pass it on to some roguelike websites for publicity. No major suggestions. Maybe replace some of the interface and make your audience memorize keyboard commands. It builds character, and allows more screen space for those of us with a pathetic 17-inch screen ( Try: [link="http://roguebasin.roguelikedevelopment.org/index.php?title=Main_Page"]Rogue Basin (wiki)[/link] and [link="http://www.roguetemple.com/"]Rogu
What I'm saying is this: When you get $15000 a week and come out with $18, you're too busy praying to check who gave it to you and dole out favors.
Eh. Forget it. I'm rather privy to the financial records of most every church I visit. About $18 left over most weeks.
It's not a question I meant for you to answer. I know all about conscience. I'm asking them.
This shows an extremely immature and naive sense of the world. You don't appear to understand business or life in general. The world simply doesn't work the way you think it should. That's called reality.
I never said that it's what happens, it's what I think should happen.
If you have business people in your clergy who give out of their incomes, then you do in fact have businesses contributing to your church and involved in your church, just like virtuall
I have studied wars and empires, and I have witnessed murder for food, metal, energy, pathetic trinkets . I'm not surprised that the AFA would be motivated by profits, at all.
I suggest that you are the one who needs to think about it. A corporation, which is made up of people, gives for one of two reasons. 1. Self interest. They give because they expect to receive a benefit. 2. They support a cause. Corporations made up of people believe in certain
Now as far "tolerance training" that sounds like indoctrination. The reason that someone might call someone intolerant is when they project and/or forcibly submit their beliefs onto another person. That's why I think you should live and let live. God is the ultimate judge, and furthermore salvation is personal, or is it not?
I wrote this first. I found that other thread later. Ask a Stardock admin, they could tell you the time. I hope.
You know ,<
Really? And who exactly "entrusts" these companies with money to make "better and cheaper products"? You seem to have a very strange idea of what a corporation is and what they do. A corporation's sole function is to make a profit. That's it, nothing more. What they choose to do with those profits is their business.
I beg to differ. What does giving do? I give as an individual, sure, but why should a corporation interested only in making profits give? Selfishness? Corru
And this is why I only play RP MMO's if I'm planning for interaction. Ever heard of Freelancer?
Total Annihilation. PC. It's awesome.
I'm partial to Tremulous and Jedi Academy. And Tribes is good. 1, 2, and Vengeance, but only for single-player on the latter.
Are you forgetting that it has Securom? And phones home? If that doesn't turn you off, I'd look for a torrent of it (hey, it's technically legal if it's freely distributed), and check that version as well.
I'm not an evolutionist, don't forget, and us ex-parasites played an important part as waste disposal, or limitation.
