Fludlerk for TEC use colony frigs - the others I don't know
After reading all this I loaded a saved game, 4 player, med map about 400 ships, 40 some planets. I had task manager running in the background. It showed two (2) cores at 25% to 30% and two (2) cores 5% to 10%. I have a intel quad core 2.4 Ghz. I have everything set on highest. I have not run any frames rate programs but have never 'seen' any lagging. I don't know however it 'seems' that I don't have the 'running single core' problem others seem to have!!
10 players as 10 teams - sorry forgot to post this with the above
OK what I did was to do a 10 player FFA - I locked teams - got about 20-25 hours into a large game and I am not only holding my own - I am gaining ground/planets - you might try this until you want to learn treaties
OK Folks once and for all….. I am 51 years young been playing games on the PC since before Doom – I Own more than 1400 software titles. Look at it like it is: PC’s run most of our world – BUT consoles have been around for as long as we have had computers – back then we called them ‘dumb terminals’ – nothing but a controller and a screen. PC’s do many things and PC’s outsell all consoles combined. :CONGRAT:
