Mine activates without a problem, and stays fine until I restart the machine. Then I have to reactivate it again.

I am able to uninstall then reinstall the program, and it will work, UNTIL I perform a hard shut down, then it will revert to skinning everything in either the default Aero or an old, Windows '98 looking skin. I don't necessarily mind doing this, but I have to reactivate the software after each reinstall. Will I run out of activations at some point?

Yeah, it is definitely acting like I don't have an activation key, but I definitey have one. Weird.
