ok.. that happened to me once in a while when i inserted a cd and when it couldn't read it, it jus froze my cursor.. or it made it stop several times.. try opening and closing the cd rom drive.. if that doesn't work, try purchasing another ram and put it with the 256 that u already had.. it may have some problems with the 512 ram that u inserted Hope my comment helps

Yeh its pretty cool.. but one thing its bad if you have too much things on Desktop (as icons) cuz it takes up too much memories of your computer.. try using it like mine! (my desktop is in my profile.. jus click on my name at the bottom left of my message

Lol GM you can see all these infos in System Properties it tells you almost everything if you have Windows Xp (it tells more!) To find out more about hardwares.. use the Device manager it'll tell u about devices on your comp and if those devices are working properly or if its in a bad shape
