Cannot Connect in Technical Sins Forums

When me and my friend attempt to join a game that one of us have made, the game stalls for 5 seconds, then boots us from lobby and doesnt allow us to connect. We can join games that each other are in though. We both run routers and we have those ports open that are needed, and firewalls are off. Why is this happening? What can we do to fix this? Help!
