What skin are you using? Some skins move the left side context options to the bottom to make it seem more Vista like.
I am using Fences Pro 1.01
in Impulse, over over the version number to get the build number too, a la Fences 1.01.XXX
http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/windows-vista/customize-the-windows-vista-send-to-menu/ Using this, you could just set up shortcuts to your desktop and the public desktop respectively, and even other user's desktops if you have access. I doubt this will be a feature added to Fences.
beta notebook driver
Most likely something they'll fix before final release.
Do you get this for all Sidebar gadgets? do they all work on 7 32 bit? Link for one to test with?
Unfortunately, ObjectBar probably just doesn't know that those other desktops exist.
2.9 was a beta version that I believe is no longer available.
Also, make sure you have this free space on the drive that Impulse is downloading to. By default C: unless you change it
The problem is that the control panel icon placed on the desktop through Desktop properties is one of the "Special" icons on the desktop. On the context menu you do see, you should have an option to create a shortcut to the control panel. This you can exclude.
Sending this to Jeff. It may not be a bad idea for low end systems.
Shift and Right Click. This got changed without anyone saying anything (even caught me off guard).
Jess: If you verify DeskScapes in Impulse, does it say all is well?
Sorry, this was recently changed. Hold shift when right clicking and it should be there.
You might try right-clicking on the program and choosing the Verify Installation option and see if that helps.
This may not be available for SupCom, as it's a 3rd party title.
Visit the following site and click the link for the appropriate application/theme: https://forums.stardock.com/account/regs If you're trying to get a theme/skin/etc that you purchased through WinCustomize, this is the best way to go.
I don't know a hard date, but it should be very soon.
I believe today or tomorrow.
Virtual Desktops was a great program. I would like to hear the reason that it no longer seems available for Windows 7.
It doesn't work with the new taskbar, and there hasn't been enough demand for it to warrant an update.
You can change the address here: https://www.stardock.com/accounts/accountsetup.asp?SDID=1&Hide=True I would suggest contacting first if it's close to or after release day, just to be sure nothing has shipped yet.
On the other hand,it would be nice to be able to download and archive without installing all apps we have available to us as part of our ODNT sub regardless of the OS in use at the time.
You should be able to download and archive now without having the app installed.
I installed MyColors, applied a theme, rebooted, applied the Windows default, rebooted and that did correct the "stuck" icons. Used on Vista 32 bit.
Also a good troubleshooting step.
kitofnet: This is kind of an old thread, may not be the best idea to post here. What version of WB are you running, and what skin are you trying to apply?
What security software? What is it detecting as a virus?
But in AlienGUIse, there is no Rebuild Icon Cache button!
You should be able to update to the latest version of MyColors through Impulse, which will have the button.
My Dreams stopped working when I disabled all the Visual effects.
This will probably also disable DWM, which will disable DeskScapes. Good rule of thumb is that if Aero isn't enabled, DeskScapes probably won't work.
What game is this happening with?
