hi stefan, very nice work of your team and great birthday present :-) You seem to know a lot of the whole graphics stuff. I'm looking for a tutorial on how to create bumpmaps and lightmaps for GC2, do you know one? I'm used to find bumpmaps as extra files at the same place the texture is located (like in Oblivion) but where do I find them in GC2 TotA? Sorry if this is maybe the wrong place to ask but you seemed to be one of the few persons who do such work. thx <br/

thx :-) I made some progress on this ship today. As I had some concerns about the model working right, I managed to replace an existing hull. It works fine :-) Kryo's KHSM mod will probably teach me now how to include the defiant as an extra hull, I'll find that out. At the meantime, has anyone seen a tutorial on making bumpmaps for new models? I'm not quiet sure if I understand the GC2 system correctly, I'm used to work with bumpmaps as extrafiles (as seen in Oblivion e.g.) but I do

Hi guys, i got this model of the definat a while ago and would like to add it to the Twilight's medium hulls now. Unfortunately I can't get it working and can't find any tutorials or helpfiles for the 'ship component editor' :-( Can someone help me or at least give me any tips or link any tutorials? Here is the model i'm using: http://rapidshare.com/files/130360550/defiant_ship.rar.html
Alright here are three ships in directX .X format, along with textures. I have also included the free DXviewer.exe so that you can try viewing the X files yourself outside of the game.Now...
Hi, nice work, but I have one problem. I tried to insert the defiant in Dark Avatar. To do that I copied the files to my '\DarkAvatar\Gfx\Models' folder, but I cannot see the model in the game. Am I doing something wrong ?
...And i do not really know where the point is - there is just a small difference between being a pirate, buying the game, getting it shipped and make your own iso and being a pirate, buying the digital game, downloading the iso and having not to start your burning software. I do not really see the point why legitimate buyers should not be able to create their own physical copy of the game...
I don't see the point either :-( Does anyone know the shipping cost for germ
