The last one is the A-20 Avenger Heavy Bomber. I started it with two photonic torpedos. Since that is what the Bomber had in the SFB game and made it so nasty. I tried to make my fighters and Bombers look as if it were possible to not only fight in space. But support any gound operations that the good old Infantry would need. The next three ships are really fighters and bombers. Tried to make a few from the old Star Fleet Battles game. Haven't shown these to Ronin yet. So not sure if he would be interested in them for a later add on or not. The first one is the F-16 Eagle Interceptor-Fighter. A cheaper and lighter fighter over the F-18. I have found that the Stegosaurus can also be "tweeked" to serve as a Fast Patrol Ship Tender. Just take the Troop Transport pods off and rotate the claw/hook to a up and down position. Then just add the ship with a squadron of FP ships and there you go. Not sure if you want to change the name or not for it. To me it would just be a sub-variant. Everyone knows that Pegasus was a "secret and unoffical" operation. That was in violation and Enterprise stole the cloak to begin with.
Well...I have set up the Gorn, Klingon, Romulan, Kzinti, and Borg as new AI races for my game. Granted, the AI does not always build the right ships. But it is fun to see the D-7's and Bird of Prey zipping around. For anyone interested. I have the Gorn use Arcean Tec. Seems to really suit them. Klingon's use Drengin of course. Hey Guys: For starters, You are correct in that when the Kingons were added to the show. They were ment to be patterned after the Russians as we knew them during the Cold War. Many thought that when the Romulans appeared, that they were suppost to be the Chinese with a Roman like cover. Roddenberry just wanted another "Bad-guy" race. So he would not over use the Klingons.
