planet and ships missing after latest update in Galactic Civilizations III Stardock.net Forums

After getting the new update a the Villains of Star Control I started a new game but my home planet can not be seen nor my survey survey ship. I can issue orders and administer the colony but I can not see them. The rest of the map looks normal and the sphere of influence for my home planet is present as well as the path for my survey craft I restarted the game several times and choose a different race and I still have the problem. I loaded a previous game and it works fine. Anyone else havin
