The next update (the zero-day one) will supposedly have it.

There are eight arenas :P. I don't think you will get bored too quickly because of the number of arenas. They are pretty simple so additional ones probably wouldn't be too much different from the current ones.
Welcome :) The beta is over now though, so you are getting the final game.
Sure, funny announcements are always fun. Also, today, I was playing as Regulus; I killed someone and then gave a move order or something immediately afterward, and heard Regulus say "Wait for it" and then immediately afterward the announcer said "Godlike!" :D
The official manual is here . It isn't included in the digital download yet. If I recall correctly, holding down alt and right-clicking is attack-move.
There are basically three different game modes: 1) Normal games between humans and/or AI's. These are your typical "skirmish" or "custom game" games in other RTS games. There are two teams - each team ranging from 1 to 5 players - that play against each other on a single arena. 2) There is also the online Pantheon tournament. In this mode, you choose a side (dark or light) and can choose any of the 4 Demigods on that side. You play with others on your s
Hi Loui :D I like it, though I haven't played it as much as other people here. It is definitely worth trying if you have it anyway. The servers are slow today since the game wasn't supposed to be out today but it should work better tomorrow. I'm not sure about how many players are online yet since today is really the day before the day it was meant to be released :D. The GR portal is the only active fansite th
Say "thanks" for me to all the Stardock guys (and girls) that lost their time off to help the masses :).
I'm pretty sure it never happened :(
Flags vary significantly based on game mode, I think.
Each side has four of the eight Demigods - Light has Regulus, Sedna, Rook, and Oak; Dark has Queen of Thorns, Lord Erebus, Torchbearer, and Unclean Beast. When the tournament ends, I think you can choose again, but during one tournament you are stuck with whoever you chose.
Well, at GameReplays we have some strategy info and such from the beta, and if the user manual is weak on details I'll probably make an unofficial one. A stat database will also be set up at some point. Otherwise you will just have to ask specifically or try to find stuff out yourself.
Replays are already viewable if you know how :)
Try ctrl+f. Just a warning though: last time I checked in the beta, it automatically resized the screenshots to something like half the original size.
I think just loading up beta 1 for the first time and seeing Cataract (or Waterfall as it was called back then) from the skies was the first wow-moment I had :)
That map has been in existence for ages but we never got it in the beta, IIRC. I remember a screenshot of it from maybe even before beta 1 started.
Even if Gamestop doesn't do anything to compensate Stardock, I wouldn't be surprised if they got fewer sales in the future because of angry Stardock fans [e digicons]:P[/e]
Only at Gamestop, which is selling it earlier than they were told to. I recommend not buying it from them though.
@Astonerbum: Boxed versions ordered from Stardock are CE's :)
You can buy from Stardock here
There might be an easier way but you can always do this: 1) Press ctrl+~ to open the console (pressing it again will close it) 2) Type ren_shownetworkstats (typing it again will close it) 3) Real players will have ping and such while AI's will not.
They'll probably make an announcement or something once the CE boxes run out. If you pre-ordered the digital download version, you can eventually upgrade to the boxed CE for ~$5 plus shipping & handling, apparently.
Frogboy said that a demo version is underway/will be underway soon. [e digicons][/e]
Good post :). The demo info is good. Nice poster Sevenix :D
Third'ed.
