What techincal support? No phone number but I get some silly e-mail address If you want technical support, you do have to be willing to receive it, and email ([email protected]) is the preferred method. The forums are best suited to simple issues or user-support, especially if you're not a highly technical sort of person, as email gives both sides time to work through the issues thoroughly. It would appear from your
My, my... I myself am just beginning to experience the load of problems with getting online, but I'm not sure I have tried everything yet. I just wanted to say that I'm amazed that you (Viewpoint) stated repeatedly that you could not uninstall/reinstall the game, and then Seabass goes and tells you to fix problems by *GASP* uninstalling/reinstalling the game. Wow.
Yeah...I'm thinking the same thing. Wow!!!! Yep.

For Impulse related issues with downloading and installing please reinstall the game and then right click on the icon and select "verify installation". Do you happen to have any security software running at the time of installation? Dude... I can't even install the game. Heck, I don't even know if I fully uinstalled the game that I had uninstalled in attempts to reinstall the game so I can put this...what....farce of an I

Look people here is the problem with this d*** game!! I bought the game back in May. It is a good game. I like it a lot. However to get this game to download, to get online to play with others and the like is a total s***bag full of frustrtion. Yes, I'm cussing because of the frustration this game puts me through. Now after going through a barrage of hosting problems of "who can and who cannot host", and login problems I burned out trying to play this game, and I j

You know in the technical section of this thread I put up this response. However no one wants to listen because as a "noob" , I kind of worn out my welcome sort of speaking. As stated, I love the game very much. I'm not here to start any problems and I'm not here to start a flame war. However, this problem if I'm not wrong has to be addressed to the Stardock and Ironclad officials here. In my opinion it is very sad that the Stardock an
Hey Monk , dont listen to fools like viewpoint. You have been very helpful to the community and im sure the people who matter - Ironclad and Stardock are very appreciative. I sympathesise actually with your situation where you are an expert in your field but you have to communicate in lay-speak to the masses. I study Dentistry where Im actually trained to communicate and empathise with lay people , and its suprisingly a very difficult skill. Explaining things to colleagues in the same fie
Annatar, thank you for the back up.Viewpoint, I'm glad that your game now works. I'm sorry that you were annoyed and perhaps misinterpreted my intentions by what I said, but I believe Annatar summarized my feelings pretty well. Perhaps as time goes on, you're learn that it's not a sign of weakness to apologize when at fault. This was a case where this was not an Ironclad problem, yet, you mistakenly assumed it was their online system that was the issue (and bashed them 'round a bit for it

Annatar11, Kyro, Craig Fraser: Thanks a lot for the information. I tried it and I found out it was my Norton Antivirus that was preventing me from logging onto Ironclad Online. Thanks a lot for your help. I fixed the Norton problem and now I can log in. A BIG THANK YOU :) Hollow Man: Look, there are thousands of people here.
Try running the game in Windowed mode to see if it pops anything up in the background. I find often that Windows pops up "Do you want to give this program permission" boxes in the background.
What do you mean by that? I'm running the game on Windows XP?
