Sorry Bebi - your reply didn't show until I posted again, for some reason! Yes, I did select that systemwide option (although I can't double double check as it's my home computer with WB and I'm at work) and then select the font from that list. I was sort of suprised that it hadn't changed it! I'm still worried about this referral thing, though. I hope I haven't upset anyone or done anything wrong and if I have I'm truly sorry - just very inexperienced at this whole thing!

Well - now that I have had a day to play with the wonder that is WindowBlinds, I've come up with another question! I found a font that I liked and thought it looked 'dragony' and might therefore go nicely with the dragon theme that I was using, so I went into WB and clicked on 'fonts' and then clicked 'use Speedball No1' and applied changes. The font changed on title bars etc, but nowhere else (I've tried uploading a screenshot but I put the image URL from photobucket in and click OK an

[font="Impact"]HURRAH!!![/font][size="7"][/size][color="#FF0000"][/color] You've fixed it! It was set to 120dpi and I changed it to 96dpi and - ta-da!!! - it's all perfect!! Have uploaded a screenshot to prove it! I never could work out why everything on the screen on my laptop looked huge when it was set to the same resolution as my computer at work. . . Ah well. I did the whole uninstall, cleanup, download SDC and reinstalled WB using it but it's still doing the same thing (bar along top not there, too big for screen). I guess it doesn't like my system somehow. At least it works, it's just irritating not being able to see the whole screen. Nevermind! Thank you very much to Bichur and Philly and everyone who offered advice, much appreciated xx

I really am an imbecile at all this lark. Following Philly0381's advice, I have tried to go back to the default windows style so that I can follow Bichur's advice and uninstall/reinstall etc. BUT - I can't go back to the windows default!!! I went to the control panel/appearance&themes/display/themes and selected 'windows xp' from the dropdown, clicked 'apply' and 'ok' but the display is still in WindowBlinds (I'm using dragon). Oh I am such a technical idiot! I have some more questions (and one answer) before I can go any further! Sorry to be so thick! My resolution is 1024 x 768. It feels uncomfortably large to me but I've tried reducing the resolution and it just makes things fall off the edges of the screen rather than making the resolution smaller! Hi all - I downloaded the free version of WindowBlinds a couple of days ago and decided that it was fab so I purchased and registered it. Thing is, it's not working properly now?
