I ran in to similar issues with the demo on a computer that belongs to a domain. If I logged in as different users the demo would think that there were different remaining days of the trial period. All of my glitches went away after I bought the Pro version, uninstalled the demo from all machines and then installed the Pro version.
Did you mean Ctrl-Alt-Backspace? Ctrl-Alt-Del will always go to the primary. To send that combination to the secondaries you need to type Ctrl-Alt-Backspace.

I now have Multiplicity Pro. It controls all three of my computers flawlessly. I couldn't be happier. Multiplicity standard will control ONLY 2 computers, the primary and ONE secondary. Multiplicity Pro controls the primary and up to 6 secondaries. Pro also adds file copy between machines. I recommend Multiplicity Pro.

It would help if the main site clearly stated that the difference between Standard and Pro is that Standard will control the Primary Computer and One Secondary computer. I made my purchase based on the material presented on the website and also the articles in the knowledge base. It now appears to me that earlier versions of Multiplicity could control the primary and 2 secondaries, but now the product has been downgraded to only allow one secondary machine. According to their FAQs, the standard version can control up to 2 secondaries, but it will not do it for me. I have tried uninstalling, re-installing, and now not only will it not control 2 secondaries, but it won't run at all because I have used up my product activations.
