The only interim solution I've figured out is to work on a 12x10 that has a dark background and resize the 'canvas' up to 16x12. You still end up with a logon image at 12x10 but the larger background doesn't distort it. Of course, it's not that hard to make the step from there to making one's own logon. Not a lot of 16x12 users out there BTW. <A HREF="https://www.wincustomize.com/inde

PaintShop Pro 7, PhotoShop 7, both do everything, but it is quite possible to turn out some great work in ye olde MS Paint.
Its just gone 0430 here in the South East corner of Australia and I'm still working! Wombats are nocturnal critters but this is ridiculous. I remember Carswell AFB, way back when it was a SAC base. <img src="http://images.stard
Operating system? 40MB is not much if you have a full X theme running with all the bells and whistles. Some basic system details would help people here to help you as well, not just a plaintive 'help me'. <
His net access is about to go belly up ....
Go to http://gurus.onlinedesignschool.com/beginners/newbies.shtml and check out the 'Photoshop Guru's Handbook'. Good resource written in nice simple terms. Just right for this Wombat! Mostly PS6 but new sections on PS7 added all the time. <A HREF="https://www.wincustomize.com/index.asp?Cmd=full&N
Time for a response. > Kiss your butt goodbye brat!
You really should have that leaky module seen too by a suitable physician Jafo. At our age leave nothing to chance! <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/sb.gif" border=0 ALIGN="absmiddle" ALT="Powered by SkinBrowser!"
'ANOTHER AUSSIE SISSY QUEEN. DO YOU AND JAFO HAVE GAY SEX?' Not only an ignorant little jerk but a homophobic one as well. With such literacy and style this snot can become a politician or a lawyer. Keep on keeping on Stoat, beware of things that go bump in the night. ><img src="http://images.stardock.com/im
'Sproat'?? A name with a touch of 'Monty Python's Flying Circus' or perhaps 'The Goon Show'? <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/l

There are very few on this board who have had to use a weapon to kill another human. Those who have not should consider themselves very fortunate. >
Not a good idea Joe!
The 64 bit version of XP requires a 1Gb board, the current versions do not. ANY o/s will run well with more grunt, Mandrake 8 and Red Hat 7 are good examples for a start. Wombat can't see why a 'Superior Being' is bothering to run 'eye candy' on his developer's box .... nice black dos would be the go! I ran 95, it was buggy but did the job for several years, made the mistake of upgrading to M
You can set speed (and most other properties) under the 'Mouse' tab. Might need the disc for the Rodent unless you're running a generic one.
What? Rubins has three fans in Brazil, so my Brazilian petrolhead friend tells me!. His Father, his Mother and his Sister!
What are OS you running?
Left side of keyboard, third key up, turn it OFF!
"I'm a software developer and I KNOW I can set up XP to run like crap". Guess you failed your course if that's all you can do with XP. I'm not a fan of Microcrud or Mr Gates, however, from time to time one should remember that MS can claim some credit for taking the desktop PC user out of the geek category and giving the average person a relatively user friendly OS. <img src="http://images.star
Third key up on the left side of the keyboard, turn it off! >
BoXXi, you just described the Pommie "cricket team" perfectly! Kel Carruthers, Barry Smith, Colin Edwards (50% Texan only!) Valentino Rossi (Honorary Australian) <A HREF="https://www.wincustomize.com/index.as
Casey Stoner, Troy Corser, Greg Hansford, Warren Willing, Wayne Gardner .... etc.
I just wanted to see who the lucky person was who had post '666'!
Doh! I meant 'Pete Seger' was as old as dirt! Wombat is suffering from "CRAFT Syndrome"!
