G'Day Jafo. Big day with the usual 'Family' routine? We're about ready for the next session. Only 8 hours to go and its finished ...and all the best for the coming year <A HREF="https://www.wincustomize.com

I'll go with motion. The present versions of Nortons and Powerquest are very stable on my pair of boxes. But I don't run all the options at the one time, the only thing that loads at startup is the AV and Connection proggies, and all maintenance is done to a schedule. And yes indeed, the old and awful 'Crashguard' crashed 9X more than it prevented crashes! <A HREF="https://www.wincu
Over use of 'Bench Marking' aka Anal Retention.
Most people who are using WB are quite happy with it, they know enough to switch from certain themes if these are hungry and as for 'benchmarks' .... who gives a Rodent's Rectum? It is what works on ones own box and nothing to do with some Geeky rivet-counter's assumed perception of what constitutes a 'resource hog' ...... As for some paranoia about an 'Intel' conspiracy <img src="http://images.
And use LogonStudio for a start.
A "Waiter" or "Waitress"????
What OS?
StyleXP is rubbish, it's just a variation on the XP theme. WB will run fine on most systems with variations between skins, some of more complex skins certainly take a bit more grunt than the basic ones. I've run the first versions of WB on a P1/200 with 32M of RAM .... under Win95. No sweat. "Benchmarks" mean nothing, the real test of any proggie is how it operates day to day. You wan
What exactly did he say??
"Wombat" has been "Wombat" for quite some time. It started at Duntroon ...... a comment on this particular Wombat's social behavior and diet. Jafo?...."Chubby burrowing marsupial????" Chunky ... well, maybe. Chubby? NOT! <img src="
And that's USD ...... try double that amount in AUSD! As many people must have the newest program all the time a large number of genuine copies of Photoshop 6 are appearing for sale, complete with registration and all the legal requirements. But ... IMHO you'd be better off with Paint Shop Pro, if you are a newbie. My 2C worth. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/grim.gif" bo
You can always load Mandrake or Red Hat .....
Perhaps you should go back to Win 3.1 .... shouldn't use too many of your resources. Be as boring as Tofu of course.
Double posting for a start!
Does Dolly Parton know she's had one "borrowed"? (Bra that is!)
I think the best looking building in the city is the Chrysler Building (Excuse me if the name is not correct), a great piece of Art Deco but pretty well timeless. Calatis, I'm relieved you said it, I really detest all of the proposals, and I think (me, myself) the bigger and shinier the bauble the more trouble it could attract. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/notsure.gif" border=0 ALI
Like 'Dwarf Tossing' .... very non-PC.
Kosati, I know what you mean, but I was thinking more on a national level. My own experience of the Medical System in the US (San Diego in fact) was an eye-opener, nice people, well trained, all those things, but not enough of them. And of course, if you survive the reason you ended up in hospital the bill will put you into Cardiac Arrest! <A HREF="https://www.wincustomize.com/index.
The money could be better spent, medical services, hospitals, unemployment and that sort of 'frivolous' thing. I would have thought 10 floors high and 100 below ground level would more practical .... These are all just a bit 'Las Vegas' IMNSHO. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/sb.gif" border=0 ALIGN=
If I remember correctly, Stardock are happy with normal (as in Bank Cheques) snail mail payment. For the record, SG$1.00 = A$1.00 in round figures, A$00.56 = US$1.00 or near enough. And I do recall one of the Admins here pointing out that Stardock do not have "foreign" (his unfortunate word) dealers. So ..... Pirated sounds about correct. ><img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/sm
Deja Vu ... "Hot Town, Summer in the City". Makes me feel old.
Jafo, I think we should burn 'em at the stake, "And Let the Punishment Fit the Crime". (apologies to Gilbert and Sullivan). Aside from the human cost its the environmental and wildlife damage that gets me going. The last bout around Sydney was total insanity, 40+ fires??? Pile up the fagots and bring on the offenders, I'd even use a tumbrel and maybe we could import some of those French Revolution period crones to sit and knit in front of the fire. <img src="http://images.stardock.co
Buying the original is not a problem, Stardock have a good mail-order service for the whole bundle on CD or you can D/L packages if you want. 'Ordered it from Singapore'?? That will be a pirated copy for sure. > </
D/L LogonStudio, follow the instructions, READ THE FAQ! >
Laptops .... the 'Fashion Statement of the Engineer' ... goes well with those pen pocket protecters.
