I dont have the Problem with Crashes with the Patch 2.03. I have Win XP SP 3 on a new Comp which is max. 1/2 Year old (Quad-Core). Allwipedout mayby your System isn´t running correct (Windows ??? Failure), that you have to make it compleetly new. Systems which are 2 Years or longer on PC have to much Datas (Patches, Updates and so on) that they are not working correctly. Or you have that sh..... VISTA System, which is not good for Gaming and much Programms.

The Commercerially Ufo Afterxxxxx Games are Real-Time based. They are not bad, but the best of them is in my sight Ufo Afterlight. I rember an little War between Drengin and one of the new Race you can chose (i can´t remenber the Name). The new Race (that with the religion to the Galaxy), made war to the Drengin. That was crazy. I have read the Patchlog for 2.02. There are some Points, which are not Added in the EU (Endless Universe) Version or have Problems with it. 1. Some Buildingdescriptions and Buildings which you can build on the Planets are completely in english (like the Recruting Center for Alterians [in 1.98 the Recruting Center Description was in German], the Orbital Command Centre). If it is an Combisystem which is using 32 Bit Games, Programms etc. and 64 Bit Games without Problems, I will buy it. I mean the same like Windows XP (that is a Combi from Win NT [Industrie] and Win ME [Gamers]) where many older Games Work (which were produced for Win 95/98/Me). I think the Difference is, that Gal Civ II Twilight of Arnor where build only for the Downladversion (with the Visacardpayment). The Add-On Dark Avatar had a long time before an Boxed Version in Germany. So there is no Prob to play DA in the EU Version.

Gausflayer, thats right what you say. I think like you in this things. I think it should be no Problem to wait some more days longer for the German patch. Stardock will integrate the 2.01 Patch for EU Users. The rest of the World, which had the 2.00 Patch was happy but there where some Failures in there. So Stardock won´t give us an new Patch, which has Failures (2.00) in there. And there is an another thing: Impule isn´t listing the Endless Universe Package. Only

I think we will get the 2.01 Version, which was yesterday coming on the Market. [e digicons]:D[/e] The 2.01 Version is the Bughunting and -destroying Version (2.00 has some failures). So I think the EU Version will be the new translated 2.01 Version.

fdlu I´m a GCEU Player too. If you look on the Post from CariELF, you will see that not all things in Endless Universe are translated into German. So I-Mod and Kalypso are working for the last translations for the 2.0 Version for Endless Universe.

I have the same Problem with this Add-On. The worst thing is, it is the German Boxed Version. The first Add-On Dark Avatar and the normal Version (Dread Lords) are working without Problems. I can play the Campain and the Normal Cards. In Twilight of the Arnor I get in the Programm (Campain and normal Settings are no Problem) but when I wanna play a normal Card (after Settings), the Programm ends. Then I´m on the Windows Desktop. I have Problems with the Original Game too. I been waiting for the 2 Add-On´s in German. I think thats Boxed Versions. If there no Boxed Versions it will be the same Problem like here (gbmami you know what I mean). If not, look at my third entry here.

If TA needs DA to run, I think I-Mod makes an Double Add-On Package. The Problem is that the most Europeans have only the Galactic Civilizations II Box with Patch 1.5. The most European People didn´t trust the payment(bad Experience) or the Parents say no to that Updates, so the European Gamers only have the normal Boxed Editon.

I read, that the Translation Team (I-Mod Produktion) found an German Publisher for the Second Add-On (Twilight of the Anor). Is it Possible that the first Add-On (Dark Avatar) come back to the German games Market? I ask, because the second Add-On can be Published in Germany like the Orignal Version (Galactic Civilizations II) and the first Add-On is only downloadable.

I´m searching the Patch 1.6 for this Game in German. But the Patch is included to the Add-On Dark Avatar. Can I download this Patch without buying the Add-On or without costs? If I get the Patch only with buying the Add-On may I get it in a German Gamesmarket like Media Markt? The Original Program (Galactic Civilizations II) you can get in this Market.
