[quote who="JuleTron" reply="18" id="2121053"] Actually I find bombers are the perfect counter for the orky. And yes I tried this against a human Vasari as Vasari. Are they more expensive than the anti-structures? Yes because they do more than attack structures therefore they cost more. Yes, as myself and others have said, Vasari bombers should fill the anti-Orkulas role. Anyway, I've noticed a SB bug. When you se

I'd put Atlantis after the first five seasons of SG-1, those are just plain badass, but before the decline. It's way better than the post-gould ori arc. About the time the cast started ditching SG-1, it was past time to kill the slow. I'm rather glad

I dont know if this is the right place to post this, but I have a few questions. First, i'd like to say that I was not a fan of Stargate SG-1, but lately a friend convince me to watch o few episodes, so I did. It wasn't so bad, so I bought the first 3 seasons, and after that all the season up to the 7th. Now that I have finish watching the first 7 seasons, I ordered the last 3, I should have them by the end of the week. 1. Should I buy Stargate Atlantis?, i

They're not going to do a campaign just for the sake of having a campaign like every other RTS. Once you play the "extended tutorial campaign" once, you never care to

[quote who="JuleTron" reply="7" id="2117569"] he main one would be to stick them in choke points so that if people try to run their fleet past your chokepoint, some ships might get seperated and stuck My point was that, it would be much better to destroy the enemy ships rather then slow them down. they only work if you also consider that Vasari mine layers are mobile and can accompany your fleet. the idea is to set traps with them.<br /

I agree it would be nice to have one Flagship with additional bonuses, but not to the level you are mentioning; level 10 or 100% to shields/hull/... thats just too much! Maybe it could go something like this: TEC: +20% fire rate for all friendly ships in the gravity well. Advent: +10% shield restoration & +10% antimatter restoration for all friendly ships in the gravity well. Vasari: +20% hull repair for all friendly ships in the gr

The reason I wrote this wall of text above is to show you how limitlessly sophisticated it is, for a Vasari set up against an entrenched Vasari, to mount an effective offensive. By effective I mean an attack, during which the attacker has at least one advantage above the defender. In Any other matchup the attacker has an advantage. - in Tec/Adv VS. any faction , the attacker has the advantage of torpedo cruiser

I dont hate starbases, but I dont like them. They are responsible for increasing the length of games (and I thought games were already long). But on the other hand, all the other upgrades in Entrenchment are a welcome addition (Mines, Synergy, Shield Bestowal, Meson Bolt, Burst Rockets, etc...). I know IC wanted to create something fun and exciting for entrenchment (IC concentrated a lot of energy into starbases), but it just doesn't work for me. <p

Instead of bidding on someone else, you should be able to bid on yourself. The winner of the bid could choose where to send the Pirates. This would give a better level of control; choosing the enemy of your choice and which planet to attack.
