I'm laughing because this is the one thing my brother and I asked Frogboy at PAX. We were discussing AI development while he was playing with Volcanic Upheaval. Pretty sweet getting a chance to talk to the man himself.

Here's my opinion of the whole anti-drm thing. I once knew a guy that was a big fat pirate. He loved DRM. It was fun for him to find a crack and apply it, or to use an application to bypass it. For some removal of the DRM is the game. Okay, frame of reference (because someone said a refrigerator wasn't a good example, but maybe a car is?) You install Photoshop or heck, even Adobe Creative Suite 4. You've spent the whole whopping 2400 USD on it.&nb

I'm putting together a torrent of the original footage... total size is enormous though. I don't exactly have a good encoder, so it'll end up being somewhere around 8-9gb maybe more. And they're .MOD (JVC's video format) so you'll need some type of codec pack. Also, for the lower res stuff, go ahead and let anyone who wants to see more know about this thread... I've only lost 40gb of bandwidth to 'em so I've got around 1.4tb of transfer left :) (that's about 1400gb)

Insurrection was twice the Star Trek movie that Nemesis was. But nemesis was an action movie. And Martok... STO looks and plays just like an MMO. Which is why I'm afraid to say I won't be playing it at all. Even in instanced areas the combat is ridiculous to watch. A klingon with a batleth taking a swing every 10-15 seconds against someone with a phaser set on kill... ugh. Anyways, it didn't feel like startrek because there was only combat shown...

So, here's some more footage from PAX at the stardock presentations. They are all lower quality because I don't have that much hosting space/bandwidth. Also... I erm, ran out of battery power about 20 minutes into Frogboy's presentation on Friday, sorry :( REMEMBER RIGHT CLICK SAVE AS! http://www.daedalao.com/video/fbdayone.wmv This is some stuff from day two with BoogieBac... I'm so tired still I can't

Yeah it really was a blast. Also, for those of you without the patience for what's happening tomorrow I've got some low-res 122mb action, you should right-click save as for this one. http://www.daedalao.com/video/daytwowithscott.wmv The name of the video says it all. We're looking at the editors guys :D

Okay guys, here's the deal, my editing software just befuddled me, so I won't be posting any more videos on youtube... However, I will be hosting them on my own personal server until such a time as I reach my bandwidth limit. I will also be providing torrents around of the video as that would be easier. So more on that tomorrow as I have a beautiful girlfriend to spend time with after being gone for the better part of a week!

Hey everyone, I'm in the process of editing the long videos as I write this... my brain is shot so much information. I'm going to start a new post with embedded videos of everything I managed to get... Thanks for the karma! And BoogieBac and the guys/girls on the elemental team are rocking it. Gotta get more stuff off of the camera and such. Seriously, next post will have embedded video.

Almost an interview, but I'm not in the media. Hopefully it'll shed some light. My camera died about halfway through frogboy's presentation at 1pm today, however, I have plenty of elemental footage to share and HERE IT IS! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G7PZxL1wOgI Instead of starting a new topic, here's a link to a low quality (compressed for size/bandwidth restrictions) video of Scott (BoogieBac) talk
