Basic ship design upgrades in Game Talk GalCiv2 Forums

Is there a straightforward way of using an existing ship design, but upgrading certain elements in-place, without having to play with the Legos again? For example, suppose that I'm basically happy with the star fury that I've got, but I want to beef up its engines to my most recent tech? Is there an easy way of doing in-place engine replacement? Or suppose that through advances in miniaturization, I now have room to throw on some extras, in addition to my base design.&nbsp

Crash returning to full screen mode after desktop interruption in Bug Reports GalCiv2 Forums

I was rudely dropped to my desktop mid-game by my Logitech G7 cordless mouse battery monitor. It apparently needed to tell me that my mouse battery was critically low. When I returned to the full-screen game (A Dread Lords campaign scenario, but with the Dark Avatar expansion installed), the game crashed. Video drivers are less than a month old.
