I downloaded a driver dated today that seemed to have a new ui. The game still skips frames the mouse cursor skips across the screen in menu's, including the options menu. The map is still missing when I start up the game, but if I alt+tab and then return to the game, the map appears.

No Map!!! in Political Machine Stardock Forums

I have seen several posts complaining of "choppy" graphics. I have experianced the choppy graphics only on the main menu. The intro movie plays normal, and the game once started seems to have smooth graphics. My biggest problem is that there is no map once I have started the game.
