I actually really like the idea of it being on the Matter Processor and frankly, I think STTC gives too few resources, though I am however in favor of removing all credits gained from it. As a result, I believe that pulling it off would be harder, though very powerful if you manage to do so.
Volt_Cruelerz
Suppression Aura+Vertigo+Guardians+Mitigation+PM Block. Late-game AL can very easily block a huge chunk of incoming damage.
Ugh.. I'm going to say that while I would say that traditional incendiary weapons isn't going to do squat in space against sci-fi hulls or shields, who knows what the sci-fi ones on the Marza do. Neither of you write lore, so please agree to disagree.
Since when do the Advent use their telekinesis to turn milk into clothing?
http://www.5596.org/cgi-bin/kinetic.php Please stop with the nerd arguing.
Well, mesons can decay into electrons and photons, both of which could do all sorts of funkiness to ships.
Remember that the Vasari came into beta late due to a critical bug, else the balancing we got this patch would have likely largely been towards the end of the beta. They made a date not expecting a bug that would put them two weeks behind. As for the Coronata, the Coronata is actually quite powerful. I wouldn't say OP. I would still advocate buffing/changing Unity Mass. Anyone who suggests buffing Suppression Aura, Subjugating Assault, or Repossession is cr
Or even offensive if you land the culture on the enemy and you're AL. Forcing the enemy to culture up early will be forcing them to play a game that you will always be better at. When I play AL in RR, I generally open with either a Revelation or a Radiance and Progenitor.
No, but they can capture enemy ships which have others.
[quote who="CoronalFire" reply="46" id="3191679"] Quoting Volt_Cruelerz, reply 45Hard? Not at all. Just time consuming. In my private build of RR, I'm currently testing out Guidance acting as a general cooldown reduction buff, reducing cooldowns of bombing, weapons, and abilities. The Halcyon already has an energy weapon cooldown (passive ability). Another question is if Guidance works on lvl6 abilities, I'm guessing it does. Co

Well, obviously STTC isn't a buff, but if it were made one, that would be interesting.. Of course, you'd have to differentiate between loyalist and rebel ships and I feel like once you start doing that to any of them, you ought to continue to most of them.
First off, Advent are the weakest race and the AL are the weakest faction, so... Also, fleet up only when needed. The additional tax really drains your economy. Also, spamming trade ports is never a poor decision as they produce income very efficiently, particularly with longer chains. Regarding how easily Bolt took down your defenses, I can't really help you there unless you said what he had. Also, there's no need for building massed c
I made GRG disable all regen.
From RR: Demolition Team: AM cost increased from 85 at all levels to 105/100/95/90. Salvage Operations: when target is not boarded, hull absorbed reduced from 10%/15%/20%/25% to 4%/10%/16.5%/25%; boarded hull absorption is unchanged. Elite Crews: prevents target ship from being disabled from non-ultimate disables
Yeah, that's basically what I had in mind. DA deals bonus DPS/AM drain. Malice would propogate more. Fracture would do more armor debuff, etc. You obviously already get the idea.
Manpower? I hated that resource so much in ORB.. Never again... [e digicons]#:([/e]
AFF being passive is preferred because it does nothing for the fleet surrounding the Kol. It only assists the Kol. Aside from not making sense, the armor debuff would be redundant with the Meson Bolt ability of Gauss Turrets. As for Incendiary shells, in RR, I made it reduce healing to the afflicted ship.
The actual delay is hard-coded, but I suppose you could get around it by applying a buff that makes it invincible for a second or two longer prior to death at which point you perform MakeDead, similar to how Unyielding Will functions.
Well, sorta.. Yarlen had to make his hotfix mod-patch thingy which actually fixed it.
Zombie: good point regarding the VL still being able to place trade ports. Here's a stipulation that might help: stripping requires the presence of friendly culture at the planet. Perhaps even make the planet have to be at it's maximum allegiance before allowing stripping.
You must really have no idea how to use the Revelation to be posting like that. First off, Reverie is good. We all agree there. That said, it has disadvantages, like the fact that if you shoot at it, it wakes up. Clairvoyance is nice, but an ability point on a capitalship is worth far more than the 200 credits it costs to build a scout, or at least it should be. Scouting isn't hard. Guidance requires no micro whatsoever. It's a massive AoE
Isn't what you just said a mashed version of my various ideas that you seem to be taking credit for?
You do realize how much more processing power it would take to make rotating guns, right?
agree with OP
