Wow, thats very interesting indeed. It seems bizarre though that it behaves like that even though it seems to make sense technically. For myself i NEVER use windows that arent maximised, and hence if all my maximised windows arent gonna function properly in terms of transparency then WB5 has nothing for me, perhaps. Surely they wouldnt release a major program update with something like this being standard across the board? That really doesnt make s

This is excellent, but im having some issues similar to some mentioned above, as in 1. Its not saving my setup, when it restarts its got a few objects and loads of fish that i didnt choose. 2. Welcome screen coming up all the time on Auto-Load 3. When i try to remove items (by either using aquarium splash dialog or right clicking system tray) its not letting me. When i use the built in dialog nothing happens, when i use system tray i ge

Hmm... Interesting i say! Does that mean that the same thing happens for everyone? If so thats quite a pity as it would seem to negate a lot of what WB5 is all about? Maybe im a little bit confused... My favourite skin for months has been DogmaX and ive been following the updates since it began, and the WB5 version has a lovely glass border type thing around the whole skin, but of course i cant see it if the window is maximised... <

Im back again, heres two screenshots to highlight what i was saying. The first one is just the window in its un-maximised state and the second one is the window in its maximised state. You can see how the clouds and the moon image are clipped as the window seems to go outside the visible area on the screen... <img src="http://homepage.eircom.net/~rhnet/WinCustomi

Howya, thanks for that. My video card is as follows (from troubleshooting report): NVIDIA GeForce2 Go (Microsoft Corporation) My machine is a Dell Inspiron 2650, bout 3 - 4 years old now so i suppose that might indicate an "older card" in these rapidly changing times. Ive tried the "Enable if..." feature but it still seems the same. Im not sure if im explaining whats happening properly so when i get back from work tom

For this example lets use the R.I.P. Halloween skin released by Stardock as the base for my query. When the skin is maximised, the transparent part of the window border goes outside the visible area on my screen, hence the top of the min / max / close buttons, and the top of the little moon and cloud image is not visible as its outside the screen. If the window isnt maximised it looks fine. It seems to be happening on all windows that ca

Im back... I have tried replacing the systam tray totally with a series of docklets (to replace the state changing icons) and basic shortcuts, but i find that some of the functionality is lost when one does that. For example, ObjectDock. Thats in my system tray, its a static icon and when i right click on it im given a menu with About... Unload... My Docks... etc... If i try to replace that with a basic OD shortcut, i dont get that custom

Its that time again, i am here to try and find help solving something that has been bugging me for ages. In early versions of ObjectDock (if im correct) you couldnt replace system tray icons with nice PNGs like you can now. I used to think, "Wouldnt that be great if you could get rid of them pixellated system tray icons and replace them with nice clear ones...". Then as time passed, this became a feature of OD and i was very happy... ... ...for a wh

Im having a wee problem with watching threads, when i click to watch a thread it goes to my watchlist and says "There are no watch items to display at this time." even though im watching a few. I still receive reminders via Email when a thread im watching is updated, so the function is working as such, but the list of watched threads isnt coming up. Its not an issue at present coz im only watching 3 threads and i can remember them easily, but if im w

Hi everyone... Heres a kinda re-post of something i posted quite a while ago without much coming of it. Picture the scene: For the sake of getting my point across, you are using a laptop. Were taking about the system tray, unskinned and untouched, just your basic Microsoft malarkey. Everyone is familiar with the battery icon you have when using a laptop? OK, it changes state depending on the amount of juice left, whether its plugged in to

Hey y'all... This is a request for help with ObjectDock. Ive got the most up to date version installed etc... Thus far i have NEVER experienced an issue with it, but tonight an issue has raised its head... I am running an OD to replace my system tray and (im using a laptop) i have replaced all the stock icons with nice shiny ones. However, i have been trying to remove the icon for the battery from the tray, and i have done so via the batteri

Incidentally, the tray support that comes with KkMenu works fine, but the problem there is that you have to put up with the crappy standard tray icons which are all jaggy and pixelly lookin... Im using ObjectDock with the ObjectDock Tray docklet https://www.wincustomize.com/skins.asp?searchtext=objectdock+tray&sort=updatedate&order=Descending&library=29 and it was working perfectly until i installed Desktop X and now its not displaying any icons at all... @ jakehale: You can use this https://www.wincustomize.com/skins.asp?searchtext=animated+shortcut&sort=updatedate&order=Descending&library=29 docklet to facilitate your animated icons opening up a .exe file or whatever... Someone also mentioned a docklet that could chack Hotmail accounts, cant this https://www.wincustomize.com/skins.asp?searchtext=email&sort=updatedate&order=Descending&library=29&Docklets=on docklet be fiddled to do just that? @ CenebroJD: Nice idea <img src=

Ahh, now were getting somewhere! I reckon your suggestion is better, to have a delay on the docklet rather than the whole dock, anyway ill Email the guys and see if i can resolve this somehow, im not much of a codehead myself so i wouldnt even know where to start with that stuff! Thanks for your help so far! What was the idea that came to you, or is it top secret? Ro

Hmmm... Thanks but thats not exactly what i was looking for, i probably didnt explain myself clear enough... I would like it to still start automatically when my PC starts up, but i want to delay it until after the conventional Windows system tray is loaded fully. The reason is that im getting multiple instances of icons in my ObjectDock Tray docklet. It seems to be picking up, for example, Norton AntiVirus both in its disabled state and then also when it enables itself at system star
