looks like it might have been because of the terrain the dude was standing on. Sometimes, I have to zoom way in to be able to target people depending on the terrain. Have you tried that bow on other maps? Same deal?
The Prisoner is a quest that will not grant you exp or fame because you fell into the demons lures.. Freeing him/it/she and then ecessarily defeating it. You did earn exp from combat. The quest will not grant you exp. Nor fame. Also there are similiar quest such as the Scrying Pool Quest in the scenario.
There is no option when doing the quest but to fall for the the demon's lures.

The wizard probably cast "despair" a super powerful spell that targets every creature. Wildling Shaman's coal stones is another spell that affects every stack you have and hurts quite a bit. Oh and you've probably already seen a Banshee or two as well, same deal.

Ahrnauld, I loved MoM back in the day but haven't been able to get back into it. It just seemed to have too many game ending crashes and as you must know the graphics are pretty bad for for modern games. I forgot about artificing weapons yes that was awesome! An Enchant Weapon type spell would really be great. Here's what I think about multiple planes. I'd love for there to be some dungeons in the game, like a pipe down to a seco

Is there an "easy" way to separate out parts of this mod? I mean say I want to play with undead but not centaurs or angels. Or use the rivermod portion but not the other parts. I don't know much about modding LH though I did a fair bit of modding for Civ 4 and am somewhat familiar with XML.

If it's like that the escape scroll is VERY situational or close to worthless. If you get attacked and escape you are going to be sitting next to whatever it was that attacked you and it will probably just attack you next turn as well so you just lost a turn essentially for nothing. It could be useful I guess if you attack something and didn't realize that the battle would be more than you could handle you could escape, but again you'd end up rig

There also doesn't seem to be any "world awareness" going on. If I'm at war with Kraxis, his buddies don't seem to care a whole lot. There doesn't seem to be any war weariness for my civ or theirs. Randomly, after a bunch of turns they may decide to end the war but there doesn't seem to be any tie in to events in game.

I would not like the game to ding at me every single turn. That would get old very very very fast. Perhaps changing the end turn button from solid color to greyed out during the time when you are not supposed to do anything and the game isn't ready would work.

The description for scroll of recall says that it recalls your unit and army to your captial. It can't be used strategically. During tactical battle, it just pops you out of tactical battle, it doesn't recall you to your captial and you are right next to whatever it was that you just ran away from so probably not a good place to be.

Why is it a " Ravenous Harridan"? How comes it that there aren't "Bored Ogres", "Disinterested Black Widows" or "Happy Farmers"? (Why the adjective for Harridans?)
