There is no response from the developers? This is unacceptable. I bought this game for Windows 7. I was able to play perfectly on Windows 7, and now the game doesn't work. Apparently that file is only on Windows 8 from what I read. Please fix my game for Windows 7. I paid for this game, It's not acceptable to stop supporting Windows 7.
Did

I originally talked about a bug. If you spawn a new Engi with Quanta and immediately click on it to give commands, it sometimes makes an army of engineers. ALL of them! Talking about it here is no use, I will do some further investigations on that. Yes, don't use armies on engis in the first place, but no one could give me a proper use of that feature as well. :D

I'm not talking about some driver. Just about every driver. It's good to have updated drivers. [e digicons]5*[/e] http://lmgtfy.com/?q=Driver+Pack+Solution You can also freshly install Direct X and VC++ with this program. And it's free. If you haven't updated your Graphics driver, go get GeForce Experience to always get notified for any new Graphics driver (today 381.89 was released). Or
Did you check your drivers for updates? Driver Pack Solution is pretty good. Just uncheck the "things it wants you to install" like programs and you can update your drivers. As always, create a restore point first so you have something to go back to, if anything goes wrong.
Glad you got it going. I think I have a corsair in one of my desktops and no problems there, but its one PSU.. I generally go with the 80+ psu.. Anymore I buy 750 watt or higher. Seperate 12, 5 and 24 rails.. You cant buy too big of a psu, unless you have a small case.. heh
In my opinion, if you buy 900+ PSU, you are just wasting money, don't you?
Hi guys, I was at my local IT shop and we changed the power supply. Everything works again. Thank you for the help and support. The power supply has 650W, but always check on the back of the package how strong +12v, +5v, and +3.3v are supported. Power supply loses performance over time. A tip I got from my friend: "Don't buy Corsair PSUs!" He says they seem to cause more often some problems. Again thank you guys.
Basically, what are the +12v, +5v, and +3.3v reporting when you stress the system? There is pretty much 0 chance of RAM being the culprit for machine power down, so, I would ask that IT department if they have any spare PSUs you can borrow to test them out.
Which is exactly today what I asked my trusted IT Shop. They will give me one for testing as they need to order new ones for s
650W should be enough for that system. Though it is not always just about the max Watts with PSUs. Bad RAM can certainly cause BSOD, not sure about a hard shutdown. Ashes is great at pushing hardware hard to get the best out of it, but it does mean some overclocked systems which are fine in other games can crash too, though again, not sure about a hard shutdown. So if you have overclocks you could try without a
I guess your name is key to my problem. [e digicons]^_^[/e] I have a 650 Watt Power Supply which currently supports: - Gigabyte GA-H97M-D3H - Intel Core i7-4790K - 8 GB DDR3-1333 DDR3 SDRAM (will be upgraded soon™) - NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 (4 GB) - 3 Harddisks Is there a way how I can test if my PSU is putting through enough juice?
Hi Guys, I'm hoping to get some help here. When I start Ashes Escalation and go into a Game, it takes me about 10-15 minutes to completely crash my PC into a hard shut down. It will boot up itself afterward. After some investigations, I can safely say that every time I run the Ashes Benchmark, I can reproduce the issue within 20-40 seconds into the Benchmark. With this, I fired up OpenHardwareMonitor and found out, that temperat
how about a freakin link to the 2.2 cant find it anywhere. everyone else seems to know.. screws MP up royally.. Never find a game more than 1.1 thats sad..
Go to steam and right click Ashes Escalation and go to "properties". Next, go to the tab "Betas" and select the "opt-in - v2.20 Preview". It will ask for a password but just leave it blank and it will download the patch. [e digicons]B)[/e]
My bad, I double posted. Removal is appreciated. I can't seem to do it. [e digicons]O:)[/e]
so far youve screwed up MP with opt ins, hell I cant even chat in the lobby.. WTF?? I am patient, but that is about used up.. I never even try MP anymore.. 2 versions of the game and I have the one no one else seems to have? WTF.. Cant find 2.2 WTF?? JHC you wont be satisfied till you destroy any community we had.
You do realize that the current 2.2 is still a beta and can come with some minor dysfunctions..
50 quanta for an engi is too much [e digicons]8C[/e]
I think they want to get rid of the early Sentry + Engi drop and delay it a bit. Like the patch a lot, though. They couldn't fix EVERYTHING but they did most of the "more potent" and "frustrating" aspects of the game. Old strategies will become obsolete, new ones will emerge!
o_O Thank you for the list, priest. You make good stream content for Ashes. Keep going, you're doing great! :) Could I please have an official statement from a dev on what the actual pool is. I don't want to waste anybody's time at Stardock, but I don't want to waste any of my time either by not being able to 2 cap and start at a big disadvantage from the get go.
Hey guys, before starting some practice with Escalation and going into ranked, I could only find the current map pool in https://forums.stardock.net/481772 : Bis Ceres Frosthaven Knife Fight Proxima Spica Deneb Cygnus <br
Thank you for your tips. It's just an opening. Of course these will not be the only buildings I will be building. It's just about the opening and a particular QQ topic that I saw throughout the forum and other sources. I'll give Ashes another shot. Loved the SC like short game times but with less micro and APM spam.
It has been quite some time for me since I played Ashes. I lost interest after the Escalation expansion came out and I'm very happy that the devs are making an attempt to reunite communities. I'm in for that. Great Job! Let's read through some Ashes posts, do some testing and dive right back into it. As I'm someone who came from Season 1, I'm pretty sure a lot has changed in the game. However, when scrolling through the forum, I still see the same QQ-crying &
