I have, and yes, there are a lot of cool ships there, but sadly, without anyone to model/texture them I can't really do much with those concepts.
This week I’ve been presenting internally our company business plan for 2011. Part of this is the Stardock Customer Report 2011 (which we’ll be making available publicly soon) along with our road map on the studio games (this doesn’t count future titles from our partner Ironclad who developed Sins of a Solar Empire nor does it address next steps in the Demigod franchise.
There are future plans for Demigod? The one thing I didn't like about this one was the choice of using the music from Iron Man. It's great music, but I don't think it fits with lightsabers. Might just be me, though. I neither implied nor intended to imply that any platform is better or worse. Simply that those who have that sort of thinking tend to ignore the fact that any crazy BS PC publishers come up with eventually makes it onto consoles.
But let us not forget either, that we are still in the early stages of learning about quantum mechanics, and some weirder and even more wonderful findings may yet be in store, that could possibly debunk some or all of what is thus far considered known. More to the point, what this says about quantum theory is that it is either proving that causality applies, or that it doesn't necessarily not apply.
The first discoveries in quantum mechanics date back as far as 1838, a
Quoting Uvah, reply 559 Must there be, as you say, a beginning? Duh ...... everything must begin somewhere. Its just that knowing the some'when' is beyond our understanding and that because we are not alive long enough as a species to understand it. Think of a circle. No beginning and no end. Now apply that to causality. A > B > C = A. Round and round, over and over. Cyclic universe(s). No

If you could have stars on their own be stationary, but have all of the planets orbit the star, as in actually move (slowly, of course) and have even all objects around a planet orbit the planet (buildings and ships alike, especially starbases). Then you could have dynamic phase lanes to different planets, w

Firefly is amazing. Only show I like better is BSG. But like he said, the ********s at Fox cancelled it partway through the first season, so there's only 14 episodes. The movie, Serenity, was actually 3 years later, and tied up a lot of the loose ends. Personally, I don't like Stargate. Maybe it got better later, but the first movie and the first couple episodes just were terrible. I made it through five or so, and then I couldn't take any more. Other people love it though.

The simplist thing I can think of to just reduce their numbers is to make them more powerful, with more range, but a lower limit per gravity well. Four times the damage and four times the range would (hypothetically) mean you would need a quarter of the number of mines (right? you'd need less, anyway[e digicons]:P[/e] ).
