bump, for the newbs.
aias
lol at the music.
interested
I gave you a coupon, what are you doing with them?
My game split off the main game. I played out a game based on the same game they did, but when they disconnected, they had a game without me, and I had a game without them.
It looked good until the disconnects.
It seems like I can't finish a game now. Every time I get a lobby together it ends up splitting, or at least I suspect it of splitting. The game with Big Abbot did that, and again now it looks like it happened. I'm not sure if it split, but myself and one other person remained, and I think it split. I've had a bunch of games that ended in a similar way, everyone leaving the game spontaneously, and me by myself, finishing some of the time, but not others.
For sure, you can get tendencies, but its going be have to be a really large table of data in order for you to draw any sort of conclusion. I'm thinking that for every combination of team vs every combination of team on every map would need its own stat tracking, since the data isnt going to cross over terribly well, and once you've diluted the pool that much (That's a shitload of combinations) you are going to need to collect data
Stats are fine, I welcome them, but just remeber guys 1. Demigod is a team game, just because you aren't getting kills doesn't mean you aren't contributing 2. Noob magnets. I want a statistic on what characters people who just started tend to play. Lets say people who have played less than 10 games, what characters do they tend to gravitate to?
The mindset is wrong right now. Playing team games is...not what some p
This would be possible the stats weren't FUBAR. Since they are we cannot trust anything they might say or show. At a certain point when they are confident they are actually working they need to wipe everything and start it fresh. Then we can analyze how each hero is doing.
You should look at abbot's thread in multiplayer, it may help explain...maybe, I'm not sure if it's the cause.
ah, that goes a long way towards explaining the problem with stats.
If that's the cause, these matches shouldn't count toward stats.
You know that's interesting, because I didn't leave, the game kept going for me. But everyone left. lol, things went differently for me obviously. :P
I don't see how stats tracking is going to help you determine detailed balancing issues. Demigod is a team game and the team with the best coordination will win nearly every time regardless of minor imbalances. You also can't track every stat that influences the outcome of a game...if you count kills/deaths you're discounting characters like Sedna and QoT who will get less kills in a game, but will "save" thier allies asses time and time again.<br /
Quoting theubersmurf, reply 5 But I want proof, I've adjusted and adapted and changed to whom I'm playing against, and the only way to change it really is for me to change to that demigod...and the idea that there is only a handful of demigods worth playing strikes me as a crappy situation. As well, when regulus is that big ass bucket of water for everyone but a handful of demigods...there is a problem as well. All demigod
teh bump
Depends on the general, male general, no, female, yes, as either of sedna or QoT they're too much of an investment not to buff them. They die as easily as the male general's do, but cost many times as much. For the male generals they are cheap and plentiful, and are cannonfodder (just like the female generals...though not nearly as expensive) and as all followers do, they die...in droves. I don't actually get yeti when I play sedna anymore, as qot I will, if I'm emphasizing the shield, it giv
It's also not just kpd, it's a bunch of detailed little things that edge it the way of one over the other.
Quoting theubersmurf, reply 3 True enough, but I know they're earnestly attempting to get those things fixed, and expect to be able too, and I too think they will be able too. It's just a database, and I think they can, and when they do, and get the basic elements hammered out, they need to do this as well. I can agree with that for sure. But I still stand by the notion that my experiences being WTFPWNED nearly every si
I will bite. This game isn't balanced for 1vs1 gameplay. I think it's acceptable that a particular demigod will usually defeat another particular demigod. Published stats would be amazing. However- they can't even track wins and losses at this point. Hell, they lose track of entire games. Bigger priorities.
True enough, but I know they're earnestly attempting to get those things fixe
I know a lot of you don't think there aren't any balance problems, and I think that's fine. But in order to actually prove one way or the other, I'd like Stardock/GPG to do the following. Maintain and publish detailed statistics per demigod. kpd, gold, towers, favor, etc. As well, they should look at the configurations of the teams for any given map. Which demigod killed which demigod, what have you. I'm getting to the point where I'm getting t
I was thinking more about your CPU cooler, but whatever floats your boat.
You should run coretemp to look at the actual temps. As Kyro said, the stock fans aren't that bad, and would probably be fine. I can imagine the new cpu removing a bottleneck that would prevent your GPU from running at full capacity, which is great.
Regulus' mines stun the opponentNope. Shrapnel Mines (4th level of mines) slow. Deadeye (Last Snipe skill) adds a tiny chance for a miniscule stun.
)Oh, well, I didn't know about deadeye, I don't play a lot of regulus, I presumed it was the mines he was referring to.
Oak: Is ranged. Regulus: He has some sort of interpupt/stun... but I think it's at the end of some sort of chain. UB: He has a stun, but I forget the specifics of what it does.
OAK has a single ranged attack, Regulus' mines stun the opponent, UB's life drain stuns as well, forget the name too.
Sarco you kidding me? I lost to a Sedna 14 kills her 0 deaths her. ITs not pounces damage itself that is rediculous. Its the cooldown ON pounce that is rediculous. There is NO possible way to escape a Sedna with a teleport out even after the first bite, because she will get a second pounce in right before and interrupt you and your dead. so if anything is to be changed on pounce its a few seconds longer ref
It takes forever to recharge, in fact, in terms of DPS, it's actually pretty low.
