Yeah, it was one of six curators suggested by Steam. I used to look at new releases every day. Heck, I even looked at recently updated if I was feeling it. Now I don't even visit the store anymore. This is definitely something that needs to evolve over time. Problems for me: I don't have a single well-known media personality that I agree with on things. The multiplayer has a large amount of bugs, it is just barely playable. Desyncs, random crashes, Ai controlling player factions while they're still in the game, end turns that fail to compute, tactical fights that go on forever. Just to mention a few. The game even has a special error message displayed when the players in the game are on different turns .
Sounds neat, I'll be sure to revisit this if/when I pick up an occulus.
I agree that the combat is weak, it doesn't quite feel like I can control my own units. The rest of the game is really well executed.
