Right! Games exploring social issues are inevitable, and if done right can add to the product. But since when is it up to the gaming "journalists" to take up the cause and fight for it? Well, at least it's transparent. Now I know to stay the fuck away from some writers because their strongly held beliefs represents undeniable bias. Just as Depression Quest was a fun adventure into empathy-land for me, but the writing about it was horseshit.

We need a proper fantasy RTS though. What did we last have that was decent? Warcraft 3:FT? Frogboy was talking about making a game with similar visuals to what we saw in the lotr helm's deep fight. That's where my bet is. Dream would be a Shogun2-esque fantasy game that didn't suck like Arthur: the wargame.

I really think cyber warfare will be the tune for the future. Most people don't understand the risks and don't understand what can be done. Stuck with the idea that a "hacker" is some pimple-faced teenager, in reality it's state-funded offices filled with pros. Don't even get me started on the atrocity that is the Store. You'd figure what enables people to spend money after purchase would be high priority for MS developers. You'd be wrong. PS. On a surface 2 pro, when I flick my finger from left edge of the screen towards middle it "alt-tabs" through my open apps one at a time. Only if I hold it still does it open the context menu. Maybe you're just doing it too slow?

Seems like these spells could just multiply all damage before performing a normal attack instead. You could even keep the tooltip number by calculating it from a separate gamemodifier. If I'm not mistaken, there's a huge issue with stacks of groups using the abilities as well. 3x30 attacks are inferior to one 90 attack because defense soaks much less against a 90 attack.

I, for one, welcome the new robot age. More people to do other stuff in society. I'm not too worried about unemployment as I live in a fairly progressive socialistic country (Sweden). In a 100 years I absolutely expect guaranteed basic income to be a thing (in practice it already is).

Champions (and sovereigns) can get new traits when they level up through the special window that appears. Some units have traits that give +1 hp/level or similar. Other than that, all units including champions and sovereigns gain accuracy and hit points when they level up
