First of all, I really liked the screenshots posted the other day... the Substrate units looked really nice there... About the balance and how Substrate will play, no idea what to say other than give me that faction and let me test play it... Sounds like they are stronger and weaker in certain aspects, since Air does not need an extra building, does this mean they can be build quicker/earlier than air from PHC? Anyhow, cannot wait to test this all out. :) <
I do like the AIs units style...by the way do the Dreadnoughts look more detailed or is it just me? ^^

Sorry Monk, but the Rebel Galaxy players are rather busy playing the damn game than replying to you. ^^ :) I love it too, a nice "simple" in a good way game.
Thank you for the clarification on that, because it seemed the engineer was building forever, then i clicked the amplifier and the health told me 100/100... I thought, ok done. :) I will also watch the amplifier being build more closely in the next game. I really would prefer for example, if I click a sector or a node that it shows me the income or if I click a metal extractor it tells me the income? Also one different problem... it is the team colors... white/grey loo
The engineer keeps building the amplifier even when the structure is done... so all queued orders after building the amplifier are not being executed.

Yes, the maps look nice, kind of remind of of SupCom but they need more life, I agree. Teleporter gates is a nice idea if implemented well... meaning expensive or expensive too use, high energy consumption or they use radioactives or so. Would like to see it in game and test it out.
I would love a transporter or the flying ground unit, but worse performance than the dedicated ground unit. Radar jamming units on big maps sounds like fun. I would imagine that the dedicated AA unit would shoot down the missiles with its laser turrets.
The research matrix needs radio-actives, I think you can only build it once you collected some radio active resources.

I had the problem that my units were not underground but floating in the air, thus unable to build anything. After restarting the game, reloading the map everything was just fine.
Nevermind, I tried again, same settings, map and so on and it does work just fine now.
Hi guys, I just downloaded the latest Ashes patch with DX12 and the benchmark. Everything runs fine during the benchmark test. Thank you. On a side note, the Ashes DX12.exe was first blocked by my Antivirus, it seems that it does create a false positive. My problem, I tried to start a skirmish and my initial engineer was not able to build anything, it was also going up and down in the air being not really close to the ground
Nevermind, I thought this was a problem after today, the release of the DX12 version.
