I am an idiot. I have sygate firewall running on my computer. When I turned it off completely, the game did not freeze and I was able to get the main menu of the game.

I am using a wireless network but I have not set it up as a proxy. So, unless it came as one, the answer is still probably no.

I have no mods for demigod. I looked up internet proxy and I am still not clear on what it means, but I don't think I do. My default web browser is opera. Internet explorer is still on my computer though.

Okay. I didn't understand what you meant. I did it. It opened in a windowed screen. Game froze again. Same spot. Under Crtl alt del, the game is listed as not responding.

All the movies play. On the last (maybe) movie. The one where it talks about the game and how your part in the game came to be. At the end of this movie or whenever you try to skip it, the game stops responding. There is a mouse icon that you can move around the screen, but that is all. Uninstalled and reinstalled. Updated drivers (there were new ones as of thirty days ago, but I had the updated drivers when the problem started.) The only change is that i can now crtl alt del out of the game when it freezes. Before, I could still move the mouse icon but crtl alt del did nothing. Here is the dixdiag. I know it is long but when I did it, on all screens, it said no problems found. I don't know, maybe someone else does. Please help.Just to repeat, the game freezes during the int

I am actually having trouble with the game and have for the last few updates. My thread is under 'broken game' by lokis222. If anyone could have a look at the tread and maybe give me a few suggestions on how to fix it, that would be great. I really loved the game and would like to play it again.

My computer is: Inel core 2 duo e 6750 2gb of ram nvidia geforce 8600gt xp pro sp 3 and I am not using a logitech webcame but i do have a logitech mouse (it work with this game prior to the second or third to last patch) none of the troubleshooting in the read me applies to this issue.

For the last two or three updates, the game has been broken on my computer. It will not load past the movie sceen. If I try to skip past it, it freezes. If I let it play through, at some point, it will freeze. I cannot alt tab or crt alt del once this has occured. I have to do a full reboot just to get my computer working again. This is also occuring on my friends computer. We have very different computers. Is there a fix I can do?
