My crashes have only ever been related to memory usage, and once I knew how to stop it, I've never had it come up again. In fact, the optimizations have allowed me to run the game at a higher graphic setting than previously, so I think it's doing great. Carbon, I think you need to take a rest. It sounds like you're a touch frustrated, understandably.
