The "show desktop" quick launch button does a "windows-d" command... doing this hides my objectdock (because of hte setting i am using)... the "windows-m" command is what i wish my show desktop quicklaunch button actually did... so my question is... is there a way for me to create a shortcut that performs the windows-m command so that i can create a quicklaunch button that does this?
huh... so i tried this, but it has the same problem... my OD is set to the second option... "always on top, hide off screen when app is maximized"... if i clear the desktop then the OD is there... if i bring up a non-maximized window then the OD stays... and it will be on top of this window... if i bring up a maximized window the OD goes away... so far, so good... but at this point if i hit windowskey-M *OR* if i hit the "sh
i'm on XP (sp3)... i am trying to put a clock in the upper right corner... but for maximized applications it covers up teh min/max/close buttons... so this function is ideal for my needs, but alas i can't get it to work... oh, i am on OD 1.9plus

i am noticing that when i use "keep on top, hiding off screen for maximized applications" on my dock... it works well except that when i click the "show desktop" button (which i do a lot to hide all opened windows) it also hides my docks... is there a way to keep this from happenning?
so i have just started playing around with objectdock and it's pretty cool... but i am having trouble with one thing... i often have several different word docs and wordpad docs and folders open at any given time... and i can just glance at my windows taskbar ... see the title and click on teh one i want to pop to... but as far as i can tell, even when i tell OD to put open applications on the dock... and tell it to not group them together... it still only uses
okay, even though my title sounds obnoxious i am really just asking a question... i am used to twitchy RTS games like WC, C&C and SC -- this is my first slower RTS and my first 4X game. i was really excited about the concept but i have had a hard time getting into the game... it seems too easy... and like playing a chess game against a slow opponent who refuses to yield... the game seems "decided" hours before it actually ends... i should HEAVILY CAVEAT these complaint
