DeskScapes setup stops responding... in DeskScapes Stardock Forums

I just downloaded the new DeskScapes after having it on an older machine a while ago. I downloaded the setup file, but whenever I click on it, it asks for admin permission to run (which I grant) and an icon pops up on my toolbar indicating the running program. Problem is, a larger window never opens on my desktop and nothing ever happens... eventually the programs reads as not responding. Any ideas? Honestly, and I don't know the design intent, but I wouldn't recommend playing on random maps at all. You sound like you enjoy a similar playstyle to my own, and I was sorely disappointed with this mod until I tried the custom maps, which play very well.
