If any race needs a buff I think its vas because except the space egg, all of their caps are underpowered and assailants should be more powerful than illums because they cost more and take up just as much logistics slots. the devs need to nerf illums and everybody expresses that but still the advent aren't broken, I've lost plenty of times while playing advent
for some reason I have encountered a couple of times when people try to ban the advent in a game. its retarded, thats like banning the zerg in starcraft, they put 3 races in the game for a reason and even though illumispam can get a little ridiculuous at time unless ur a complete noob you can deal with it. The advent are my favorite race (mainly because of the progenitor mothership for some reason) but still its bullshit that people try it anyways. maybe i'm the only one tha
no u r right they can catch up but it his very hard to constantly keep firing upon them because they are too fast, they need to slow them down
i hate carriers now, i was in a multiplayer game where my tec opponent made about 15 carriers. me being tec made about 20 flak frigates, 12 carriers all with fighters, about 20 lrms, about 15 hoshikos, a dunov lvl 3 and a marza lvl 6. i successfully destroyed all of the bombers quickly but nothing could keep up with the carriers and i happened to missile barrage them twicew and they still lived. in entrenchment i think they rreally need to slow down carriers. imho a sh
when i played for the first time today i played as advent and it seems that their homing mines can be used offensively and are really powerful too
so i understand the point of support capital ships like the dunov for tec and the revelation for the advent but is the antorak marauder very useful? I see people use it but it seems to be good for hit and run tactics because it speeds up your fleet but other than that is there any purpose. One other question: i was playing multiplayer the other day and some guy who was playing as vasari while i was tec was building vasari structures in my grav well and my ships
