Or, on alternating posts, the light blue and black monotony :D
This post is hilarious :D (maybe unintentionally). Is the lack of a bevel on the first D grating on your sense of perfection AZ... :)
I think its a little early for merchandise AZ. Although, thinking about it, there might be more public demand for figurines. I guess it depends on the popularity of the title though, unless Stardock/GPG sell a critical mass of copies, there would be no point in merchandise. Maybe a shirt or figurine in the collectors edition?
Well, considering that this game is using the Supcom engine and Supcom provides a mini-map option (albeit a small and difficult to use one), the programming is there to provide one. Let's hope they tweak it so that it can provide more clarity of the battlefield.
Good luck in your new endeavours Scathis! Pop in on the Demigod forums once in a while to let us know what you're up to. Good luck with the new job Tyo, I'm sure you will perform well. There wouldn't be much for you to do now anyway Tyo, Scathis's has done 99% of the work already before he handed it over to you... right.... :)
An issue I am currently having with the Demigod forums is that the search functionality doesn't seem to work. I try searching for a user or a particular term that i know will be in a post (for example, torchbearer) and the search provides zero results. I know this isn't an issue now, but when the posts start building up it definitely will be. On a side note, I did a search for Demigod and found quite a few results, so it seems to be a bit hit and miss. p.s. I am
I believe at the start of each multiplayer game you will start at "ground zero", however I believe there are different modes available in multiplayer which can allow you to carry across achievements won into new games.
Nice analysis, good bit of insight there. Let's see if all that you and Gnats3 summarised is true. The fatass unit as a general hero definitely seems plausible.
I have noticed on other forum posts that there will be no NDA for people who have pre-ordered and are accepted into the beta. Does this mean that we can capture in game footage (a la FRAPS, etc) and display this information on third party video websites such as Youtube? I saw this with Sins of a Solar Empire and found that it was a good way of getting free advertisting for the game.
Great job with the trailer. The only problem I had was that it wasn't long enough... :p
At this moment, probably the torchbearer, freezing spells FTW!! :CONGRAT:
Well zellogs, I have pre-purchased. Lets hope we can find some Aussies on the system when it comes out.
I have started to become rather interested in pre-ordering this game, but I would like to know the number of Australians interested or have already organised a pre-order of this game. This will give me an idea of the availability of games for the Australian timezone (usually GMT+10, but for Perth GMT+7) during the beta period
