I really can't understand why people can't just accept that God could have made life that evolved. Why do they have to be mutually exclusive ideas? I believe in God. I believe God made humans. I believe that the biblical creation story, is just that, a story. Just like every culture has a creation story, this is the creation story of the Jews. I believe that many Bible stories are just stories not factual events. I do not believe that the Bibl

Oh Tex, the whole high school/parent/teenage pregnancy experience sounds horrible. I can't imagine how isolating that would be. I thought I might have a clue, I was unmarried when I became pregnant with my son but I was 22. (I got married when I was nine months prego). My mom had a fit but I didn't live with her so her judgementalness and influence was limited. It is really a completely different experience. I'm glad that everything worked out f

No, you're not a wuss. It's really, really, really hot around here. I am looking forward to a nice cool fall day too. The only way we can stand to play outside is if we add water. Actually you might be able to get some super soakers marked down now.

Actually John McCain doesn't own any houses. He's homeless. His wife owns four homes that she shares with her hubby but she also owns three other properties. I don't know that ad seems kind of divisive to me. I thought Obama was above that kind of petty politics. Newsflash - Obama is politics as usual. He is playing the game just like they all play the game. lol - when will the pod people see that their leader is just a politician, n

I don't believe in a one issue vote. I understand you feel stongly about this issue. I still think you have to look at the big picture and not choose one candidate over another because his VP choice believes a certain way on ONE issue. The point may be moot anyway because the articles I have read said that McCain is NOT going to choose a pro-choice VP.
Listen, debate amongst yourselves all you would like and do all of us in Texas a favor; stay out.
I'm in Texas. There are plenty of Texans on this site. Does that make us qualified to have an opinion?
yours' are the ones causing the mischief due to their complete absence of moral parental direction.
Absolutely, not MINE.
Well that depends. Are you looking to be remembered? Is it really important for every person in the world to be remembered by more than a handful of people? Obviously someone remembered Dolores if they actually wrote the above in your article.
The point I was trying to make is more HOW we will be remembered. I would rather people were saying "we'll miss her" than "good riddance".

I am impressed that you took it on and most importantly persisted. I might have tried but if I had a hard time, I would have been chasing someone down to help me. I am mechanically challenged. I can't even hang up window blinds.

"Dolores had no hobbies, made no contribution to society and rarely shared a kind word or deed in her life. I speak for the majority of her family when I say her presence will not be missed by many, very few tears will be shed and there will be no lamenting over her passing." How horrible would it be to have this be how you are remembered?

I have recently read two stories about toddlers being starved to death by their mothers. I cannot even comprehend the horror or how a mother could look at her child and not feed them. Javon Thompson's mother was part of religous cult. They determined that he was a "demon" at 15 months old because he would not say amen after meals. So being good-hearted and in the spirit, they denied him food and water. When he died they did pray for his resurrection

Just get her some little ears and a tail, she can wear her own sweatsuit and paint a cute kitty nose and whiskers. Viola - cute kitty. I absolutely agree that they try to sexualize girls at earlier and earlier ages. I actually saw somewhere that they had little HEELS for babies, maybe it wouldn't have seemed so bad if they weren't leopard print! It's just insane. My personal pet peeve are the shorts and sweats that have words written on the
