By the way, Jeff, the name you were trying to recall earlier was Miriku, King of Custo (after it died and everyone left), famous for claiming everyone was wrong in any debate because his parents worked in that field (to the point where we all made jokes about his parents not being able to hold a job for more than a day).
ahh yeh Miriku Chan? Was it? He was relentless. Brad and I use to get into some flame threads with

Spill it Jafo. I don't remember what the deal with the rabbit was. I think i'm going to watch Mad Max while i work...
At first I wondered why the theme in the post was mostly black(I think of Trek as the colors of the ship or uniforms I guess),but then I remembered some of the control panels were black with those buttons so its all cool.
Based on the look of the bridge control panels... Base is black laquer. All the control panels are high gloss glass. Buttons reside on the panel. The 3 buttons you see on the titlebar are triangular buttons like you see Uhuru pre
My only " bashing " in this whole deal is this: I have several Hypersuites, all for XP, and now, if I want to use them, I have to buy them again for Vista. I feel like they should be replaced with Vista versions. Most apps I know of get upgraded to a Vista version, if you own the version for xp, you get the upgrade. I have a subscription to ODNT. I get all upgrades free while my sub is good. If I have to buy them again, then Hypersu
Adorable Leo :-) If you're on XP I'll send you the Disney theme. If you want. Just email me at jschader at theskinsfactory.com. There's 6 colors and one of them is red and yellow. Hi ess-vid. Long time ;-)
She's great Leo. She's actually a Leo born 08/08/08 :-) I've all ready spoken to Brad about whether it would be okay to port into Windowblinds. He's all for it. Believe it or not I don't care what format our themes are in. I'm not interested in creating software. Hyperdesk was simply a way for us to be able to distribute and apply our work. Nothing more, nothing less. Problem is logistics. We don't have a distribution outlet for WB skins. I can't have Hyperdesk.com's vi
damn wrong one.
whoah i can comment with my old profile.
Is there no truth in beauty? Good episode.
Nimbin, Mr. ID #2,343,221, I've been doing this for a long time now as Jafo can attest. It's always fun, just not like it used to be. Do you honestly think some people on a forum chatroom can ruin my day? My life is great. I have an awesome job, a beautiful wife and 7 month old daughter and i love what i do. So what could any of you possibly say to me that can ruin my day? Seriously. You guys get what you deserve from me. Someone posts a thread about our theme or product and then i read the l
I was just thinking that Jafo. We had some awesome flame wars back then.
You guy's are always so much fun. Seriously, why aren't we doing this more often?
Web: I understand completely. Karen: I could go to an early grave and be happy never taking a dime from you. You're typical of what i find here. I didn't say a single disrepectful thing to you. I didn't call you any names. All i did was call you out on what you yourself said. And now you're all crying about it. People are so quick to dish out but as soon as you take some back, it's no fair. i didn't start this thread. I didn't tell people to pick
Yeah those are just the XP ones. There are Vista ones on dA. And webgizmos, you can't say some prefer Windowblinds and some prefer Hyperdesk. Not the same thing. You could say some prefer .wb and some prefer .msstyles though ;-)
The only lady i care to impress (except for my wife): And D2J: It wasn't a real offer, so no need to get defensive.
And don't be bringing Worf into this, this is a TOS thread.
heard not good things from a friend about treatment of customers. Nobody can hold a candle to Stardock's customer support.
Did you bother to read that he was talking about TGT Soft and not us? And yes i don't want our customers touching/altering/modifying our themes. You're damn straight. We're selling themes not templates.
Please tell me Kol didn't make that star trek theme. Those buttons are bad.
Dude you're crazy. Those buttons are awesome. If you knew the original series Star Trek you would know those are the button from the bridge panels only more vibrant. And Billy made them. Look at the amount
They were. Vista version is coming soon. I don't know why it would interfere with WB. They theme differently. I would say yes you wouldn't want both trying to theme at once but you can unapply specific elements with Hyperdesk. So for example if you wanted to use a WB theme but the icon set from a Hyperdesk suite you could just uncheck the theme and click apply and it won't apply the theme portion of the suite. I use Rocket Dock but i used to use Object Dock and never ha
Then why are you saying quite clearly that you would spend your 20 dollars on Windowblinds not Hyperdesk because of all the free themes? Makes zero sense. Reply #37. Not like I'm making this stuff up. And as far as being "malleable" goes. I'm glad people can't alter our work. The last thing i want to see is some amateur butchering our theme and showing a screenshot of it and people thinking that's what it really looks like.
Let's say (the economy being what it is), I have $20 discretionary spending after all my bills have been paid. I can buy one hyperdesk theme, and that's all I'll have, or I can buy Windowblinds, and have the Stardock skins that come with Windowblinds, and access to the themes in the WinCustomize gallery. Windowblinds is a better value. It's more interactive. It just does more stuff.
One has nothing to do with another. Hyperdesk could be compared to M
I don't know what the shark clock joke is all about and i really don't care. Say what you want, but dA is a hell of a lot friendlier than here for us. I've been around for 10 years and i'll be around a lot longer than most of you will be. So have your fun ;-) And say what you want, but I get paid really well for what I love to do. This is more than just a passion for me, it's my career. And even after 10 years i still love what i do. I work for myself at home where i ca
You have a link to deviantART where someone is bashing WB on our stuff? I've mentioned many times to people that while i appreciate their support these are 2 different animals. So put up... My skin is still thin from the other threads about us. As a matter of fact the author of this one has to mention no bashing. How do you explain that. Go drink some more koolaid.
And for the record... my real account was supposed to be unbanned. It's bit annoying having a member # of over 3,000,000 when my real ID # is like 4500. Considering I've been part of the skinning community 10 years now...
