I have a Intel 2500K at the moment Would I see much improvement in turn time for Galciv3 with a Ryzen 1600X or equivalent?
Ryzen definetely better in single-threaded performance than 2500K/2700K/3570K/3770K when compared with equal frequency. And 1600X got two more cores and SMT (there are 12 threads), so multi-threaded performance much better. I think GalCiv3 will benefit from this upgrade.
Decommissioned ships refund their administration points and legions.
But not in the case if Survey (for example) ship destroyed in battle. Is it OK?
I have noticed some things. Not so critical bugs, but still. 1. Cost of trait 'Fast' was doubled, so Terran Alliance and Altarian Resistance both have -1 available trait points (any other faction has zero). May be it is OK. 2. If there are two same resources on the single planet we can build improvement only on one of them. Actually I have seen this once (two Xanthium Deposits).
I think, that all will be OK with Ryzen and Win 7/8. If I am correct, things like PCI-E, USB, SATA, etc. usually work with any OS. Also, Ryzen have not got integrated GPU, so no worries about video driver.

There should be a huge diplomatic 'plus' that says "you have strong allies!" and have the number of pluses be dependent on the number and strength of my allies. 2. ...and equally important, if someone declares war on me, my allies should have to join in the fight on my behalf, or break the
Hello, there was this interview. So likely expansion like Mercenaries.
Thats great. Administrators alone in 2.0 looks a bit insufficiently in my opinion. But when part of the citizens system, it is make much more sense for me.
Couldn't do this w/ my current game. I attempted to upgrade my ship to a core ship and then upgrade it back to the One-Per-Faction Component ship and wouldn't give me the option to upgrade it to that ship and in ship yards still can't build it.
You should decommission ship with One-Per-Faction Component, because if you upgrade it to the core or custom design (without One-Per-Faction Components)
Latest version with all DLCs (but I think it appeared some time ago). The problem is impossibility to buy high level weapon and defence techs from civ, that actually have it (using on their ships). These techs are simply missed in the tech list of civ at the diplomacy screen. For example, I can buy Harpoons or Counter Measures, but not the Photonic Warheads or Drone Sentry Systems In the sam
I had noticed other funny thing. Any ship (with acceptable hull) can be upgraded to the design with One-Per-Faction component if there are no ships of this design. But also you can actually upgrade all ships of some design to the design with One-Per-Faction component at the Govern screen. And all of them will be upgraded, so you can get a lot of ships with powerfull components.
It's strange. In the cases of laptops with integrated GPU (where are no switchable graphics) there are should be easy to update video drivers. So doesn't the new drivers from Intel's website work after you uninstall the old one or you cannot even install it? For example, one of my laptops is Lenovo s215 with integrated GPU (Radeon HD 8330). When I want update video driver I make "clean" uninstallation. After that I just install the new one.
I know this problem about old drivers for HP's laptops (with Intel HD Video and AMD Radeon HD hybrid graphics), I own Pavillion DV6 with i5/HD3000 and Radeon HD 6770m. The only solution that I know it's the custom drivers from Leshcatlabs (google it, I don't know if it permissible to give a link here). This custom pack contains both of Intel and AMD drivers (of course modern versions) and makes possible graphic's switching. And yes, if you are intereste
If your video card supports DX10 then yes, I think. I believe that good CPU is more important for GC3 (AI, a lot of objects, etc.).
I think it looks... a bit crazy for me. [e digicons]:D[/e] But if you want even more ULTIMATE PC you can purchase GTX TITAN BLACK instead of simple TITAN (more shader processors, 2880 vs. 2688). On the other hand it's possible to make computer cheaper with almost no loss in performance. </sp
I uploaded an avatar yesterday. It is true that the previous posts and replies will stay without it.
Hello, I am a 23 year old student. In february 2006 I read review of Dread Lords in gaming magazine. I wasn't a fan of 4X games but I had become interested. So I simply bought the game and became a fan after the first month of playing. [e digicons]:)[/e] I enjoyed thoughtful gameplay with interesting political relationships, eco
I think that you can choose more reasonable motherboard. Motherboards which costs less can offer the very same performance compared to this one. Of course if you will choose other one you must be confident that it will support this CPU ( FX-8350 ).
So there are my current system: Core i5-3570K - just like topic starter (even with the same clocks); Arctic Cooling Freezer Xtreme rev.2; MSI Z77A-GD65; Gigabyte Radeon HD 7870 (also overclocked, 1225/6000); Crucial Ballistix Tactical DDR3 1600 (2x4GB); Two usual Seagate's HDD; And 21.5" FHD IPS monitor by LG (LG IPS224T); Old (2008, from previous system) FSP's <span clas
