Democrats believe that it's all of our mutual responsibility to make sure that everybody has bootstraps with which to pull themselves up. Republicans believe that it's each person's individual responsibility to pull themselves up but they don't get that not everybody even has bootstraps.

I made a 2000 election scenario in The Political Machine 2004 Stardock Forums

I've manually edited the XML's and made a scenario of the 2000 election, complete with issues, the old electoral college, etc. I don't remember any issues the Dems did well on, while I remember that Bush was big on No Child Left Behind, against interventionism, for squandering the surplus on tax cuts for the wealthy, etc. so I'm still going to improve it, but it's definitely playable and fun. I'll post a link for download within a few days. However, you will have to edit a few files y
