not many players know how to make mods, but with any good custom map system all players know how to use it. Galaxy Forge is a easily learnt and used map maker but it is only easy to use when using basic functions. hear is several things i niticed immediately that were lacking in Galaxy Forge no copy paste planet properties are tricky no way to generate or place random sysetem no way to duplicate star systems

I say take the Empire at War approach, its the actual size of the ship that matters not the class. just coz a low level Star Destroyers could be built at a small space station doesn’t mean a large one automatically fits the bill. like wise the many differing sizes of the Star Destroyers should be set amongst the "frigate" "cruiser" and "capital" sizes indicated by the game. anything truly massive like a super star destroyer would be

i was afraid of that, otherwise i recon any conversion mod would involve combat ship movement. one other thing, it is apparent that ships like the human primary combat capital ship (the KOL i think) has guns on the side. could there just be a mod that made rounds move slower or be less accurate againse moving targets, making it easier for you to dodge incoming fire by just patroling around the enemy?

i guess you could creat a new entity type, it would be alot more work. or is there a code flaw that wont allow for the addition of a new entity type?

i want to make a push for a addition to sins, broadsides. i was so extited when i played the totural and watched my capital ship turn side on to bring all guns to bare on the enemy. i was nearly as excited then as i was dissapointed to see it was pertty much only the human colony ship that did it. i cant think of anything cooler then the idear of watching to fleets pull up beside each other fireing off as many guns as they have crammed along the sides. does anyone else agree?<

Sins is a awesome game, but it has a number of short comings. the biggest and most noticeable is the combat, the moment a ship is in weapons range it just sits there. this seams unrealistic and boring. wouldn't it be much cooler if the ships maneuver around, with the exception of some capital ships of course. i would make the mod myself but i'm coming up to exams and i don't have the time to learn modding let alone make a mod. Is there an
