I agree with Thunder. When I was in Gold I and the low Plats I was still getting 30 league points on a win. Currently I am getting 17-20 on a win or a loss.
Well my MMR kept me from the same fate as you this season. My placements were either 3-7 or 4-6 and I ended up in Gold I. So if you put the effort in to getting high the reset is actually pretty soft.

I finally got the laser cutter to do its job right at school now so we have started to machine a couple of rocket parts. I am on a high powered rocket team that competes ever year in a state wide competition and this year we wanted to get a nice edge in our design reports by doing something out of the box IE. cutting our own parts with a laser cutter that an undergrad student made for his senior seminar project last year. It took some calibrating, and re-alignment but its working like a charm
Some Vel'Koz thoughts: -I think he is pretty viable but has a massive skill cap. -You need some form of hard aoe CC on your team for him to be of use (WK ult, amumu, leona, alister, annie) -I feel as though his early game is weak -if you land your knock up -> ground vagina combo you do massive damage, follow it up with ult almost always a kill -fairs decently vs assassins save LB -build wise I think rylias is a must because he has a small amou
