Also what's the difference bettwen rank 9 and rank 10 AI-controlled units? * War Rank 9: Soldiers, archers, priests, Catapultasaurii, angels and giants * War Rank 10: Soldiers, archers, priests, Catapultasaurii, angels and giants
So what is the relationship between the idol and your war rank? If I am rank 1 and then grad the idol I go to rank 2 straight away? Then does it have any further effect on the war rank after this? If not maybe it would be better to let the enemy take it, then grab it straight back and jump straight to the next war rank.
Yes please have edge scrolling as an option. Also i've noticed that I can move the mouse pointer past the left edge of my monitor on to my second monitor. Please ensure that you lock the mouse cursor onto the main monitor for all the people with more than one monitor. Thanks Also innociv, just because you have strategic zoom doesn't mean you can't have a minimap as well, just look at supreme commander.
QWER and control your special moves, then you use the arrow keys to move around. I'm finding this very hard to use because I have to move from one side of the keyboard to move to the other side to control the special moves. It would make much more sense to use WASD to control movement and then 1234 to control special moves, this control system seems crazy. Also anyone know how to rotate the camera?
What do you mean "What about us in the uk?" I'm the uk and orderd fine with my credit card. Must just be a problem with your card, not a problem with the uk in general.
Bad news about DX10, the gamespot preview said the following to say. "We do know that Demigod will support DirectX 9 but not DirectX 10" [e digicons]8C[/e]
Yeah I was thinking the same thing myself. Some variety to the creeps would make it look more interesting and add more depth to the game. You don't want to be running into battle with dozens of the same unit and your enemy running into battle with the same dozen units, it just looks a mess and doesn't make it as interesting. So I support your request. Please add some variety to the foot soldiers.
From that one frame it does indeed look like wings. However I think it's just his cape. If you use the arrow keys to move forward and back you can see how his cape moves up and down during that spell.
That's good news about multicore :) Guess we'll have to wait and see regarding dx10.
I know directX10 isn't exactly new any more and dual/quad cores have been around for a while as well, but it's still worth double checking that this game does use all the cores on a multi-core cpu/takes advantage of DX10 effects? It's hard to believe that there are still some games that have come out recently that still don't take advantage of multi-core systems or advanced DX10 effects even though these have been mainstream for a while now.
