@MAJOR STRESS, re: post #408: Sorry had to clarify I have 512mb of VRAM, and 6gb of memory. I was able to play a map with two other cpu players on a 50~60 planet map without crashing but 4 players on anythin over 60 planets seems to crash. Anyways thnx for the reply.

I would also like to know if this is compatible with SINS Requiem. Just a question if someone can help me, running diplomacy v1.011, with SINS optimization running, I'm about 3 hours into a game with 4 races and 50 or so planets and I'm minidumping all over the place. Already turned down my settings, from 4x to 2x to 0x AA, and some graphics settings are on high from highest, Bloom is off, cargo icons off, etc. Running on a laptop with 512mb or ram and a dual core 2.56ghz.&n

I am experiencing the same C.T.D.'s as everyone else. Sins crashed in Win 7 RC 64-bit, 6 months ago, and Win 7 Pro 64-bit presently, how is there not a solution yet?. Can't go for more than 30 mins without crashing. Crashes faster once loading a game that has progressed a bit. System specs are i7 920, gtx 260's in sli, x58 mobo, intel 80gb ssd, wd caviar black 500gb, 6gb gskill @ 1600. Any Suggestions?

@Varek As always there is prob a price to pay. I wouldn't care that much if Sins didn't work on the os altogether. Unfortunately, Sins worked well on the beta, as did many other games for me. Since reformatting and installing rc1 the story is different. That's why I expect there to be a solution out there and many others are as frustrated as me. Prob has something to do with utilizing resources. Ie. reduces the quality of stars in order to maintain performance as a the number of ships, buildings, planets, mines etc. increases.

@ SennKS: I have done everything. Tried compatibility modes, turned down aa to 2x and off, just delays the crashes in normal games, seems almost no difference when running mods. I had read from other forums about the same thing, turn down aa and set some effects to high or medium from very high. But I've still experienced crashing, and frankly I'd rather not play the game with everything turned on low. Especially when my laptop can play

Hey I'm running win 7 64bit rc1 and yes I'm having the same issues. Running at 1920x1200, about and hour or so into the match it will crash to desktop quickly without minidump, even quicker if using a mod like requiem. The event monitor usually lists is as appcrash. I feel like it's an issue with RC1 as my saved games can be continued on another comp with vista 64 bit, without crashing. This isn't the only game I've experience
