Why was linking star bases to resources removed?

can't link star bases to resources. in GalCiv III Support GalCiv3 Forums

Star bases don't link to resources any more. Is this a bug or did they remove it.

If you have 14 Elerium nodes then you can build only one ship if it requires 14 Elerium. The resource doesn't replenish over time. I just turn resources off as they are just a waste of time.

4800x900 has the same problem. Game doesn't crash, But in the planet screen it looks like the above pic.

I got the game to start by editing the prefs file. But the game crashed after I hit end turn. The game looks awesome in eyefinity 3x1.

Game freezes here trying to use eyefinity. 5970x1080 res. At the screen where it tells you that it is alpha and you have to agree to the terms. It uses the left monitor plus half of the middle monitor, right monitor goes blank. [IMG]http://i58.tinypic.com/246lul5.jpg[/IMG]

Does any one know the new console command to unlock the research tree? The old UNLOCK command deletes the other race and causes the game to free when you hit next turn button

My only crash so far is when I go to the console tab and unlock all research, It got stock at turn 0 and after a few seconds I clicked on the screen and it crashed to desktop. Guess I can't cheat lol. At least modcredits and fow still works
